Abstract: Provided is an electric power steering device including: a motor; a drive device that supplies the motor with three-phase alternating current electric power; and a control device that controls the drive device, in which the control device is connected to a first power supply path that supplies power to the control device not via an ignition switch and a second power supply path that supplies power to the control device via the ignition switch, and the control device, in a case of detecting a failing of the first power supply path, operates with power supplied from the second power supply path and makes the motor generate an electromagnetic brake.

Abstract: A moving body having a steering device and a steering control device which controls the steering device to control steering of the moving body. The steering control device selectively performs a first steering control which controls the steering of the moving body based on a movement status of the moving body and a second steering control which limits the steering of the moving body. The steering control device performs the second steering control based on a steering state of the moving body by the first steering control before occurrence of a failure when the failure related to execution of the first steering control occurs in a state where the first steering control is performed.

Abstract: A rear-wheel toe angle variable vehicle changes a toe angle of a rear wheel by a rear toe actuator including: a housing connected to one of a rear-wheel support member and a body; a motor in the housing; a rod connected to the other of the rear-wheel support member and the body; a nut provided in one of the housing and the rod; a screw shaft provided in the other of the housing and the rod; a rotation transmission unit in the housing for transmitting rotation of the motor to the nut or screw shaft; and a rotation amount detection unit for detecting a rotation amount of one of the rotation transmission unit and the nut or screw shaft. The vehicle estimates an operation amount of the rear toe actuator based on the detected amount, and performs feedback control of the motor using the estimated amount.
