  • Patent number: 8410745
Abstract: When a short-circuit failure of any of switch portions (13) including switch elements (11) and parallel-connected feedback diodes (12) of an inverter circuit (7) is detected during the operation of a motor (1), a switch portion (13) where the short-circuit failure has occurred is checked for whether it is on the positive polarity side or the negative polarity side. The switch elements (11) are so controlled that all the switch portions (13) on the same polarity side as where the short-circuit has occurred are brought into a conducted state and all the others are disconnected. This prevents a large electric current from flowing into each switch portion of the inverter circuit without requiring any switch to block the power distribution between a motor and the inverter circuit when a short-circuit failure of the switch portion of the inverter circuit occurs.

  • Publication number: 20120212232
Abstract: A busbar for battery electrode post connection with a terminal for voltage detection is provided. Both ends of a length direction of a rectangular thin plate of a conductive metal are left and an elongated opening is formed in a center. Two holes through which an electrode post of one battery and an electrode post of an adjacent battery are inserted are respectively formed in the rectangular thin plates of both sides around the elongated opening of the center. A terminal for voltage detection is extended integrally to the rectangular thin plate from an edge of the rectangular thin plate. The two holes overlap in a state of where the rectangular thin plate is folded in two with respect to the elongated opening. The terminal for voltage detection can be erected from the rectangular thin plate by folding the terminal for voltage detection in a vertical direction.

  • Publication number: 20120208410
Abstract: A busbar includes a battery connecting portion and a wire connecting portion as a circuit body connecting portion. The battery connecting portion connects electrodes of two batteries to each other. The wire connecting portion is continued to the battery connecting portion, and connected directly with an electric wire so as to overlap a core wire of an electric wire thereon. The wire connecting portion includes a welding portion which the core wire of the electric wire is welded to, and a bridge portion connecting the welding portion and the battery connecting portion. A cross-sectional area of the bridge portion along an intersecting direction intersecting a direction of connecting the welding portion and the battery connecting portion is formed to be smaller than a cross-sectional area of the welding portion along the intersecting direction.

  • Patent number: 8174220
Abstract: Apparatus controlling a permanent magnet rotary electric machine. After the apparatus controls a current control portion, when a rotor of the machine rotates at a constant speed, to supply a predetermined current to an armature, the apparatus performs a dq vector control process by determining a predetermined temporarily set value as a magnetic pole position correction quantity while a d-axis current command value and a q-axis current command value in the dq vector control process performed on a dq coordinate system that has a d-axis extending in the direction of a magnetic field of the permanent magnet of the rotor and a q-axis extending in a direction perpendicular to the d-axis. Then, the apparatus obtains the magnetic pole position correction quantity based on a predetermined operation expression using the d-axis voltage command value and the q-axis voltage command value from the dq vector control process.

  • Patent number: 7811203
Abstract: A behavior of a walker is detected according to combination of detection of the walking behavior on a level and an altitude variation of the walker to more accurately detect the behavior of the walker. A burned calorie can be obtained according to the type of the walking behavior. An altitude variation can be obtained more accurately by integrating altitude variation only at sections with vertical movement during walking. A stride is estimated according to the behavior of the walker in consideration of the vertical movement. Obtained position and traveling direction are used for compensating values in inertial navigation system. The behavior with and without vertical movement is used in a walker navigator and a worker observing system including a worker terminal carried by the walker for detecting the behavior of the worker and a worker observing terminal for providing the detected position and behavior of the walker.
