    Abstract: A planar light source device includes at least a light guide plate and a lamp unit disposed replaceably at a side surface of the plate. The lamp unit includes: a lamp holder having a shape where a surface facing the side surface of the light guide plate is opened; an LED mounted on a flexible cable, the cable fixed on an inner surface of the lamp holder; and a shielding sheet fixed on an outer surface of the lamp holder. An upper portion of the lamp holder located close to a light emitting surface of the light guide plate does not overlap its light emitting surface when viewed from a normal direction of the light emitting surface. One end of the shielding sheet is fixed to the upper portion of the lamp holder, the other end being closely attached to the light emitting surface of the light guide plate.

Also, projections for preventing coming off are formed integrally with the metallic rotor case to ensure high strength of the projections.

    Abstract: A motor in which an attracting magnet for attraction between a rotor and a stator is used in the present invention. The attracting magnet is formed into a hollow cylindrical shape such as to have two flat surfaces between which a predetermined thickness is defined. The attracting magnet is magnetized so as to have different polarities at the inner and outer circumference sides divided in the radial direction in each of its two flat surfaces, and to be reversed in polarity in an interchanging manner between its two flat surfaces. The attracting magnet is mounted on an inner surface of a rotor case while being opposed to a bearing housing. In this motor using the attracting magnet arrangement, the shaft is not magnetized even though the attracting magnet for attraction of the rotor toward the stator is used.
