  • Publication number: 20080248666
Abstract: A main frame supports a receiving-side connector to which a connecting-side connector is connected in movable manner toward inside. A holding unit holds the receiving-side connector that is moved to the inside. A connector biasing unit applies a biasing force toward outside to the receiving-side connector. A hold releasing unit releases a hold by the holding unit, and moves the receiving-side connector to the outside by the biasing force. A pressing-force applying unit applies, when the receiving-side connector is not moved by the biasing force, a pressing force for ejecting the receiving-side connector to the receiving-side connector.

  • Publication number: 20070045118
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a sample separation instrument used in a sample separation apparatus which includes: holding means for holding a first medium supporter which supports a first medium; and driving means for moving fixing means or the holding means in a direction parallel or perpendicular to a plane whose sides extend in the first direction and in the second directions. The sample separation instrument includes an insulator for storing a second medium which allows a sample separated in the first medium in the first direction to be further separated in the second direction different from the first direction, wherein: the insulator includes a first opening and a second opening each of which defines the second direction in which the second medium is electrified, and the second opening has a shape which allows the first medium containing the separated sample to be attached to the second medium along the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20060136937
Abstract: A disc transfer section for transferring an optical disc by guide members and a transfer roller is disposed adjacent to an opening of a casing 110. A detector 500 for detecting the optical disc is disposed adjacent to the opening. When unloading the optical disc, the peripheral edge of the optical disc contacts with slide members so that the slide members are slid, thereby sensor switches SW1 to SW4 are appropriately switched on and off. Based on a time difference between the timings of the on/off switchings, the relation between a movement trajectory of the center of the optical disc and an axis of symmetry that is a straight line indicating a transfer direction at the center of the opening is judged in order to control the drive of a transfer motor according to the movement trajectory. The amount of advancement when the unloading is completed is kept constant.

  • Patent number: 7026781
Abstract: A stepping motor driving system includes: a stepping motor that rotates at a predetermined angle according to a driving pulse signal, a vibration detector that detects vibration to output a vibration signal, and a stepping motor control unit that controls the driving pulse signal, which is applied to the stepping motor, to rotate the stepping motor at the predetermined angle. The driving pulse signal includes a start-up current which is required for rotating the stepping motor at a unit angle and a holding current which maintains a rotational angle of the stepping motor rotated by the start-up current. The stepping motor control unit changes the level of the holding current according to the vibration signal which is outputted from the vibration detector.

  • Patent number: 7006409
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved disc changer adapted to exactly detect whether a magazine storing a plurality of discs has been attached in the disc changer. When a magazine storing a plurality of discs is inserted into the disc changer, a detection arm and a lock arm both serving as moving members are moved by such an insertion. The lock arm, by virtue of the movement of itself, engages into an insertion groove provided on the backside of the inserted magazine and locks the magazine on the disc changer. The detection arm, by virtue of the movement of itself, actuates a lock detection switch. Here, since the detection arm and the lock arm are both urged by an urging spring, it becomes possible to exactly detect the attachment of the magazine by allowing the moving members locking the magazine on the disc changer to actuate the lock detection switch.

  • Publication number: 20060028956
Abstract: An optical pickup 200 is arranged between optical discs 10A and 10B rotatably supported with the recording surfaces 10Aa and 10Ba facing each other, the optical pickup being movable along the recording surfaces 10Aa and 10Ba. A laser beam of two wavelengths emitted from a semiconductor laser 201 is respectively reflected in opposite directions by a polarized beam splitter. The reflected laser beams are respectively condensed on the recording surfaces 10Aa and 10Ba via objective lenses, and the laser beam traveling back along the same optical axis is received and processed. No moving member is required, which enables downsizing.

  • Publication number: 20050219965
Abstract: A record medium reproduction unit has a main casing, a transfer device, a pair of sensing pins, a sensing device, and a decision device. The transfer device transfers a larger disk record medium and a smaller disk record medium into and out of the main casing. The sensing pins are movable toward and away from each other and each contact an outer edge of the larger disk record medium when the larger disk record medium enters the main casing. The decision device determines which is inserted into the main casing, the larger disk record medium, the smaller disk record medium, or a special form record medium such as a card-shaped CD based on information supplied from the pair of sensing pins.

  • Patent number: 6747937
Abstract: A playback mechanism of a recording medium is provided, by which a period of time required until information recorded in the recording medium is read out after the recording medium is inserted in an instrument body can be shortened and the size of the playback mechanism can be reduced. The mechanism includes an instrument body, conveying unit having a roller arm and disc guide, clamp playback unit having a locking pin, and locking member. The clamp playback unit is movable relatively to the instrument body. The locking member locks the locking pin to fix the clamp playback unit. The locking member releases the locking of the locking pin to make the clamp playback unit movable relatively to the instrument body. When the clamp playback unit clamps a CD, the roller arm and disc guide part from the CD, thereby the locking by the locking member is gradually released.

  • Publication number: 20040027933
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an improved disc changer allowing correct attachment of a magazine into a magazine holder. In the disc changer of the invention, a plurality of restriction members are provided in the magazine holder which receives a magazine for arranging and storing a plurality of discs, located on the magazine holder's one surface facing the upper surface of the magazine received therein. Therefore, these restriction members can get into contact with the upper surface of the magazine being inserted into the magazine holder in an upwardly inclined state, thereby restricting the insertion direction of the magazine. In this way, the magazine with its insertion direction being restricted, can be attached into the magazine holder in a correct manner, without bringing about any undesired effect caused by both the drawing means and the disc storing position within the magazine on the positioning or the like in the disc arranging direction.
