  • Publication number: 20230273183
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily determine a presence or absence of ketosis and/or the possibility of ketosis in an animal on site or the like. Another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for performing the determination. A method for determining ketosis according to one embodiment of the present invention includes providing gas detection means with a gas generated from a body fluid collected from an animal (except for humans), and determining ketosis of the animal based on a composition of the gas generated from the body fluid using a response of the gas detection means to the gas generated from the body fluid.

  • Publication number: 20230147626
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily evaluate silage fermentation quality on site or the like. In one embodiment of the present invention, a gas generated from silage is applied to a surface stress sensor, and the amount of either one of organic acids and nitrogen-containing compounds contained in the silage is determined. The surface stress sensor can detect trace components in a gas by a simple device configuration and in simple procedures. Therefore, by utilizing the fact that relationship between the content of these components and the fermentation quality is known, the evaluation of fermentation quality can be easily realized by the above measurement.

  • Patent number: 8488180
Abstract: A mixture of image data in a plurality of categories is prevented from being present on one sheet of recording paper and the handling of printed recording paper is facilitated. Inputted captured image data is saved in order in an image memory. Kinds of the inputted captured image data are determined by the determination section. When the captured image data inputted to the determination section is determined to be of a different kind from the previously inputted image data, the determination section prints through a print head the captured image data previous to the captured image data determined to be of a different kind by the determination section.

  • Patent number: 7710438
Abstract: A plurality of images with additional information are designed to be displayed on one screen or a recording paper efficiently so as to enhance ease of visual confirmation and facilitate recording paper handling. Image data including a captured image section and an additional information section is inputted from an endoscope device, and this image data is saved in an image memory. There is generated synthetic image data displaying respectively each of the plurality of the image data saved in the image memory on a plurality of designated regions A to D allocated within one screen. At this instant, the image data including the captured image section and the additional information section is arranged to be displayed on a first designated region within one screen, while the captured image section of the image data to be displayed on the first designated region is enlarged and displayed on a second designated region.

  • Patent number: 5689786
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an endless belt-shaped photosensitive member laid across a drive roller and a plurality of guide rollers and caused to undergo endless traveling, wherein there is used a solidified developer which is solid at an ordinary temperature but is brought into a molten state by implementing a heating processing thereto, and is re-solidified by implementing a cooling treatment thereto. An image preparation process section is disposed at the outer circumferential portion of the drive roller of large diameter, and a recording sheet contact roller and a recording sheet peeling roller which constitute guide rollers are disposed at an upper part of the drive roller so as to mutually constitute the same plane to travel the endless belt-shaped photosensitive member in a horizontal direction.

  • Patent number: 5424163
Abstract: An electrostatic latent image is formed by the Carlson process, etc. on a base (photosensitive body) to develop the electrostatic latent image by a solidification developer in which coloring agent particles are dispersed into a dispersion medium in a solid state at an ordinary temperature and adapted to reversibly repeat fusion by heating at about 30.degree. C. at a temperature above a melting point and solidification by cooling, thus to form a developer picture. Thereafter, the base and a transferred body are caused to be subjected to pressure-contact and heating process to fuse the dispersion medium at a pressure-contact and heating temperature more than the melting point of the dispersion medium to subsequently cool the dispersion medium down to a temperature less than the melting point to peel the transferred body to transfer the developer picture onto the transferred body.

  • Patent number: 5420670
Abstract: A printing apparatus includes a photoconductor and a photoconductor transporting mechanism. The photoconductor is in the form of a plurality of cut sheets and stacked in a tray. One cut sheet of the photoconductor is transported to an electrifying device where the cut sheet is electrostatically charged. The charged cut sheet is delivered to an exposing device and exposed therein to a laser beam to thereby have an electrostatic latent image thereon. The cut sheet with the latent image is transported to a developing section and developed therein. The developed latent image is transferred in a transferring section onto a recording paper supplied thereto. The transferred image is fixed on the recording paper in a fixing section. After transferring, the cut sheet returns to the tray for the repeated use.
