  • Publication number: 20260252439
Abstract: A communication system includes a processor configured to: transmit a data sequence from a first device to a second device via a first communication line that connects the first device and the second device with each other; verify the data sequence stored in a first storage region and the data sequence stored in the second storage region against each other, the data sequence stored in the first storage region being obtained from the first communication line inside the first device, the data sequence stored in the second storage region being received by the second device from the first device via the first communication line and being returned to the first device via a second communication line that connects the first device and the second device with each other; and provide information that a software-related abnormality has occurred in at least one of the first device and the second device if occurrence of an abnormality is detected in communication between the first device and the second device even though

  • Publication number: 20260211764
Abstract: An information processing system includes: a storage; and a processor configured to: in response to a failure in an apparatus including multiple modules, acquire failure information from the storage; and execute a process associated with a failed module having the failure among the multiple modules and an operation mode of the apparatus at a time when the failure occurs, the process being executed by using the failure information.

  • Patent number: 8928909
Abstract: A startup operation control apparatus includes a main-power-source operation unit, a determining unit, a memory, and a controller. The main-power-source operation unit is operated to supply and shut off power from a power source. The determining unit determines whether or not the main-power-source operation unit has been operated. The memory stores, every time an operation mode of a processing device that operates by receiving power supply from the power source changes, information representing the changed operation mode in an updating manner. If the determining unit determines, upon a shift from a power shutoff state to a power supply state, that the main-power-source operation unit has not been operated, the controller performs control so that the processing device operates in the operation mode represented by the information stored in the memory.
