Abstract: A combination of an electronic timepiece with a liquefied gas fueled cigarette lighter is proposed. A common source battery is used for the bath main constituents. The spark ignition circuit for the gas lighter is fitted with a diode for the prevention of otherwise possible electrical switching shock as appearing during the on-off control of the high voltage spark generation for igniting the fuel gas. Several points of the overall circuit are positively earthed for the same purpose.
