    Abstract: To prevent both increase in impedance and a short circuit, a connector cable is configured such that a connector and a shielded cable are connected via a relay substrate. The shielded cable includes at least an inner conductor, a dielectric covering the inner conductor, and a shield member covering the dielectric. The inner conductor is connected to a contact of the connector at a part where the shield member and the dielectric are removed to expose the inner conductor. At least directly under a part where the shield member is removed to expose the dielectric, a ground (GND) conductor layer on a front surface of the relay substrate is arranged. The GND conductor layer on the front surface of the relay substrate, which is arranged directly under the part where the shield member is removed, is covered with an insulating member.

    Abstract: Frying is performed in two stages so as to dip a retainer in frying oil at a prescribed dipping ratio and then to dip the whole of the retainer in the frying oil, and in addition, flow rates of the frying oil supplied from an upstream side and a downstream side of a frying oil tank and a surface level of the frying oil are controlled. Therefore, a noodle lump can be prevented from peeling off and floating from the bottom of the retainer before fixing the shape of the noodle lump due to a pressure applied by the frying oil so as not to impair the shape of the noodle lump, and as a result, frying efficiency or production efficiency can be improved. Besides, a noodle lump that has a very small number of coarse or dense portions in a distribution of noodle strings can be stably produced.

    Abstract: An optical power prism that may be used in folded lens systems that consists of a glass prism and a glass lens attached to a surface of the prism using a thin layer of optical glue or by optical contact. The glass lens does not have a flange and thus the prism can be smaller than prisms used in conventional power prisms with the same lens effective area, thus reducing the Z-height of the power prism when compared to conventional power prisms. An optical glass may be used for the lens that has a higher refractive index than can be provided by optical plastic which allows the lens to be thinner than plastic lenses. The lenses may be formed by molding a glass wafer to form lens shapes on a first surface of the wafer; the molded wafer is then ground from a second surface to singulate the lenses.
