  • Patent number: 10613062
Abstract: A signal intensity based on a total ion current signal or the like is calculated from mass spectra obtained by a normal mode of mass spectrometric analysis. When the signal intensity has exceeded an intensity threshold, the beginning time T0 of a chromatogram peak is estimated from that signal intensity as well as one or more previous signal intensities. An MS2 execution permission-beginning time Ts is calculated by adding, to the beginning time T0, a delay time Tdelay determined front a half-value width of the peak estimated according to an LC separation condition. At or after the point in time where the actual time passes Ts, a peak which satisfies a precursor-ion selection condition is selected on a mass spectrum obtained by the mass spectrometric analysis. Then, an MS2 analysis with the m/z of the selected peak as the target is immediately performed to obtain an MS2 spectrum.

  • Publication number: 20200013599
Abstract: As soon as a set of data is acquired by a mass spectrometric analysis, an accumulated value of the signal intensity on the mass spectrum is calculated for each m/z segment obtained by dividing the entire m/z range covered by the measurement by a predetermined m/z width. Only the m/z segments with accumulated signal-intensity values equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold are selected as the target for an MS/MS analysis. MS/MS analysis is performed for each selected m/z segment, using ions whose m/z values fall within the m/z segment as precursor ions. A measurement cycle which includes mass spectrometric analysis performed one time and MS/MS analysis performed one or more times is repeated. After that, ions originating from the same component are selected based on the retention time of a peak in an extracted ion chromatogram created for each product ion, and the component is identified.

  • Publication number: 20200003739
Abstract: For a sample containing a target component, a product-ion scan measurement in which the m/z value of a known ion originating from the compound is designated as a precursor ion is performed in a measurement unit (1) to acquire profile spectrum data. A peak detector (22) in a data processing unit (2A) detects peaks on the profile spectrum. For each detected peak, a product-ion m/z-value acquirer (23) acquires an m/z value corresponding to the maximum intensity as the m/z value of a product ion. A pseudo MRM measurement data extractor (24) adopts the m/z value of the precursor ion and that of the product ion as an MRM transition, extracts the maximum intensity of the peak originating from the product ion as the signal intensity value on that MRM transition, and stores these data as pseudo MRM measurement data in a memory section (25).

  • Publication number: 20180284065
Abstract: Under the control of an analysis control unit (5), a mass spectrometer unit (2) performs a product-ion scan measurement for a target component in a target sample within a time range where the component is introduced. It also performs a scan measurement over an m/z range including the m/z of an ion originating from a standard component within the same segment of time. A mass correction information calculator (42) calculates mass correction information from measured and theoretical values of the m/z of the ion originating from the standard component observed on an MS spectrum obtained by the scan measurement. Using the mass correction information, a mass corrector (43) corrects the m/z of each ion peak originating from the target component observed on an MS/MS spectrum obtained by the product-ion scan measurement performed within the same cycle as the scan measurement concerned.
