    Abstract: The present invention is to construct a combination magnetic head apparatus in which thin film type magnetic head element portions, circuits and circuit parts accompanying therewith are mounted on first and second magnetic shield plates to thereby construct a recording head and a reproducing head and both the magnetic shield plates are bonded together at the back surfaces thereof with the result that the apparatus can be made small in size, the assembling thereof can be simplified and the accuracy thereof can be improved.
