  • Publication number: 20210249916
Abstract: In a rotating electric machine, a field element includes: a circular annular magnet portion that includes magnetic poles of which polarities alternate in a circumferential direction; and a cylindrical magnet holding portion where the magnet portion is fixed on an inner circumferential surface of the magnet portion. An armature is arranged to oppose the magnet portion on an inner side in a radial direction of the magnet portion. The magnet portion includes circular-arc-shaped magnets arranged in an array in the circumferential direction. In each magnet, both end surfaces in the circumferential direction are along the radial direction and in contact with a magnet adjacent in the circumferential direction. The magnet holding portion is reduced in size such that, in a state where the magnets are arrayed in the circumferential direction, an outer circumference of the magnets is reduced from an outer side toward an inner side in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 10894277
Abstract: A steel strip is fed and compressed between a driving roller and a compression roller to generate a stress greater than a yield stress in the steel strip and to elongate one periphery portion of the steel strip, which is on one side, more than the other periphery portion of the steel strip, which is on the other side, in a sending direction. The compression roller includes a first contact portion and a second contact portion. The second contact portion extends from an end of the first contact portion in the axial direction of the compression roller. The end of the first contact portion has an outer diameter less than an outer diameter of the second contact portion.

  • Publication number: 20200370200
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing an oriented steel plate having two or more regions in each of which a crystal orientation is arranged in a specific direction. In the method, at least two single crystal steels are brought into contact with a principal surface of a polycrystalline steel plate so that crystal orientations of the single crystal steels and are arranged in different directions, and heat treatment of the single crystal steels and the polycrystalline steel plate is performed. This causes crystal growth following the crystal orientations of the single crystal steels to occur in the polycrystalline steel plate. Then, two or more single crystal steels having different crystal orientations are formed in the polycrystalline steel plate.

  • Publication number: 20190348895
Abstract: A roll bending machine includes a roller unit and a tension device. The roller unit rolls and bends a strip member at a rolling rate varying in a width-wise direction of the strip member. The tension device applies tension to the strip member after being rolled by the roller unit in a rolling direction of the strip member, thereby reducing compressive stress which usually result in formation of wrinkles on the strip member. This minimizes the probability of formation of wrinkles on the strip member.

  • Patent number: 10449595
Abstract: A protrusion forming device includes a holding portion holding an object that is be processed, a tool bit having a cutting portion capable of cutting an object held by a holding portion, and a drive portion capable of driving the tool bit. The tool bit is movable along a cut-in pathway so that the cutting portion is inserted into the object. The cutting portion is movable along a further-cut pathway so as to form a protrusion part that is cut in a linear shape and is connected to the object. The tool bit continuously contacts the protrusion part while moving along a forming pathway such that the protrusion part extends perpendicular to an outer surface of the object.

  • Patent number: 10022765
Abstract: In a corrugated plate manufacturing apparatus, each of a plurality of primary forming punches includes a plurality of primary pressable portions that are arranged one after another in a slider reciprocating direction and are pressable by a corresponding one of a plurality of primary sliders. When the primary sliders are sequentially moved toward one side in the slider reciprocating direction, each corresponding one of the primary sliders presses the primary pressable portions of the corresponding one of the primary forming punches to press the primary forming punch against a secondary die.

  • Patent number: 9662705
Abstract: A processing machine for performing a bending operation on a workpiece includes a die, a punch movable in a first direction for pressing the workpiece against the die, a slide member movable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a first cam device that moves the punch toward the die for deforming the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member, a second cam device that moves the punch for pressing a surface of the workpiece when being actuated by movement of the slide member. The pressure angle of the second cam device is smaller than a pressure angle of the first cam device. The processing machine further includes a drive member configured to move the slide member such that the second cam device is actuated after the first cam device is actuated.

  • Patent number: 9259775
Abstract: Flat-plate connecting portions are formed in a band plate by a connecting-portion forming unit. The flat-plate connecting portions are cut off by another connecting-portion forming unit except one flat-plate connecting portion so as to form a corrugated-plate connecting portion. A corrugated-plate portion is formed by a corrugation forming unit, so that the corrugated-plate portion has multiple projections arranged in a width direction of the band plate and each of the projections extends in a plate feeding direction. The corrugated-plate connecting portion corresponding to a predetermined connecting number is cut off so as to form a corrugated fin having a predetermined number of corrugated-plate portions.

  • Patent number: 8720247
Abstract: Multiple movable die portions (press punches) are respectively opposing to multiple fixed die portions (block members). Each of the press punches is sequentially pushed down with a predetermined time difference to the corresponding block member to continuously carry out press work to a material inserted into a press-work area between the press punches and the block members. A clearance is formed between a forward end of the press punch and a forward end of the block member at a position shortly before a press-work operating position in order to control a pulling force of the material, so that a shape distortion can be avoided.
