  • Patent number: 7164695
Abstract: A wireless transmission apparatus and a wireless transmission method capable of performing simple transmission control, in which an information transmission flow control method, instead of reporting vacant-buffer information from a receiving destination apparatus, an information transmission-source apparatus permits the transmission of a packet up to a predetermined transmission window size from the packet for which acknowledgement has not been received from an information receiving destination, and the transmission of a packet exceeding that transmission window size is inhibited. As a result, if the packet is within that transmission window size, even if the information receiving destination has not confirmed the reception of the acknowledgement (ACK) information, the packet is transmitted unconditionally.

  • Publication number: 20050047383
Abstract: In a self-organized distribution type wireless network without relationship between a controlling station and a controlled station, in order to execute a channel access by effectively utilizing a plurality of frequency channels, there is provided a communication system. In the system, a communication station determines a seed and generates a frequency channel switching pattern basing upon the seed. The seed is written in a beacon in each transmission frame to notify it to other stations. A new entry station scans all frequency channels, identifies a channel switching pattern of the frequency channels in accordance with the seed in the beacon received from another station, selects a candidate of a beacon transmission position and a transmission channel, and determines the beacon transmission position and transmission channel which are best for own station to transmit a beacon.

  • Publication number: 20050036475
Abstract: Communication bands are effectively allocated to each communication station under a communication environment of an autonomous distributed type system such as an ad-hoc communication. Each communication station acquires a priority slot with which each communication station itself performs data transmission preferentially at predetermined time intervals, and releases or allocates its own priority slot to other communication station in response to a permission form upper layer of a communication protocol based on a fact that the transmission data is not in a buffer. Thereby, it is able to effectively utilize the communication bands, and to improve a throughput of the whole system.

  • Patent number: 6804209
Abstract: In a wireless transmission control method for controlling wireless communication access among a plurality of communication stations via wireless transmission of a control signal from a central control station to a terminal station, a communication station selected as the central control station judges a station with which each terminal station in a wireless network is capable of directly making communication. When it is detected that each terminal station is capable of directly making communication with a communication station having many more stations than those directly making wireless communication with the central control station, processing for changing the detected terminal station to the central control station is performed. Thus, when the control station is set and the access management of wireless communication is carried out under the control of the control station, the control station can be selected easily and satisfactorily.

  • Publication number: 20030224731
Abstract: A radio communication method or system for transmitting part of the control signal addressed to a terminal station from a base station by means of a narrow-band carrier which is narrower than the band of multi-carrier signal and is arranged in the vicinity of the frequency band used for information transmission, in the case where a plurality of frequency bands for information transmission exist continuously. It may be modified such that part of the control signal addressed to the terminal station, which is transmitted from the base station, is transmitted by means of one or more subcarriers in the band of the multi-carrier signal. A radio communication method for exchanging information between a base station and a terminal station in the frame period by means of multi-carrier signals due to OFDM modulation scheme, in which the transmission of part of the control signal addressed from the base station to the terminal station is accomplished by means of the specific position in the frame period.

  • Patent number: 4186305
Abstract: The present invention relates to a high-temperature microscope. According to this invention, a specimen is held in vacuum with one side of it heated through exposure to an electron beam and the other side of it observed through an observation window.A curtain of inert gas is formed between the specimen and the observation window to prevent the window from being clouded, i.e., to prevent vapor deposit on the window from the specimen.Visual observation (including photography) and measurement of the specimen temperature by heat radiation therefrom are done individually with different bands of wavelengths. For the purpose of illuminating the specimen, beams of spectral distribution containing the components of in the visible band for observation are used but no components of the temperature-measuring band are utilized as light source. For the purpose of visual observation, a narrow visible band contained in the aforesaid beam located in low brightness in the heat radiation beams from the specimen is utilized.
