Abstract: An ink jet recorder includes a plurality of recording elements which are arranged corresponding to each of a plurality of ejection outlets for ejecting ink in accordance with driving signals, a plurality of ejection passages corresponding to the ejection outlets and connected to a common chamber, a plurality of driving blocks formed by dividing the recording elements by predetermined number of units in the arrangement order, control elements for each of the driving blocks and for controlling the recording elements associated with each driving block in a simultaneous driving manner, a selection unit for selecting the driving block to be driven in order that at least adjacent driving blocks are not driven in sequence, and a supply unit for supplying driving signals to the driving block selected by the said selecting unit.

Abstract: A recording medium in the sheet form is supplied into a designated direction guided by a sheet supply roller. An ink jet recording head in which a plurality of ink jet discharging orifices are arranged is placed in parallel with a surface of the recording sheet and in the direction perpendicular to the designated direction of supplying the recorded sheet. An adjustment screw is placed for correcting a warped shape of the ink jet recording head by means of displacing a neighbor of a central portion of a longer side of the ink jet recording head in the designated direction of supplying the recording sheet.

Abstract: An ink jet recording apparatus which records by discharging ink onto a recording medium comprises recording head for recording on the recording medium by discharging ink through discharge ports; an ink tank for storing the ink; a first ink flow channel for passing the ink from the ink tank to the recording head; a second ink flow channel for passing the ink from the recording head into the ink tank; a filter provided in the first ink flow channel; and a back flow prevention valve provided in the second ink flow channel.

Abstract: An ink jet head is provided with testing or inspection to facilitate efficient testing of the circuitry to determine whether any short-circuit or open circuits exist.The ink jet head includes plural ejection outlets for ejecting ink; a corresponding number of heat generating resistors disposed corresponding to the ejection outlets; heat generating resistors corresponding to the ejection outlets; electrodes connected to the respective heat generating resistors. The inspection resistors connect adjacent electrodes to permit inspection of electric connections.
