  • Publication number: 20220145590
Abstract: A work machine includes: a work device; an operation device operating the work device; a first controller controlling operation of the work device on the basis of operation of the operation device; and a second controller determining that an auto idle condition is satisfied and performing auto idle control that decreases an engine revolution speed to an idle revolution speed in case the operation device is not operated for a predetermined time. The first controller diagnoses presence or absence of a failure in the first controller when supply of power to the first controller is started. The second controller performs power interruption control that interrupts the supply of the power to the first controller in case the auto idle condition is satisfied, and performs power supply control that starts the supply of the power to the first controller afterward.

  • Publication number: 20220042285
Abstract: A hydraulic excavator includes a plurality of cameras that are attached to an upper swing structure and photograph images of surroundings, a controller configured to detect an obstacle present around the upper swing structure on the basis of the camera images, and a speaker that makes a notification that the obstacle is detected when the controller detects the obstacle. When a lock lever is at a lock release position and control levers are maintained in a non-operating state from a time of a start of the controller, the controller permits the notification by the speaker. When the lock lever is at the lock release position and the control levers are changed from an operating state to a non-operating state, the controller permits the notification by the speaker when the non-operating state is continued for a predetermined time or more.

  • Publication number: 20210301502
Abstract: A cost required to perform the diagnosis of the degradation such as a reduction in output power of an engine while engine degradation diagnosis accuracy is improved. To this end, a controller 37 (engine diagnosing device) determines whether a hydraulic pump 12 is in a preset loaded state (an operation scene where a load torque of the hydraulic pump 12 is in a stable state) for acquiring diagnosis data of an engine 10, and validates a controlled variable related to a torque command value Ta of speed sensing control as the diagnosis data of the engine 10 when it is determined that the hydraulic pump 12 is in the present loaded state, generates time history data using this validated controlled variable as a current feature variable, and enables this time history data to be displayed as trend data for engine diagnosis on a display device 38.

  • Publication number: 20150135685
Abstract: An exhaust gas cleaning system is provided in an engineering vehicle such as a hydraulic excavator. During automatic regeneration, when a gate lock lever 5 is in a locked state and work is not performed, the exhaust gas temperature detected by the exhaust temperature detecting device 37 may be lower than the threshold value, so temperature-rising assistance is started as follows. The minimum engine output PS1 (pump discharge pressure P1 and pump discharge amount Q1) is brought to engine output PS2 (pump discharge pressure P2 and pump discharge amount Q2). In this way, a hydraulic load is applied to an engine to thereby increase exhaust gas temperature. When the work is resumed during the regeneration, an operator pulls down the gate lock lever to the first position A, and the engine output is returned to PS1. Thus, the temperature-rising assistance is stopped, however the automatic regeneration is continued.

  • Patent number: 8917292
Abstract: A display system for a working machine displays warning information while also displaying a high-quality camera image. The display redisplays a reduced camera image at a reduction scale of 60% according to an abnormality information signal. An open area 44 outside the area displaying the camera image. The display control device displays a warning icon (large size), corresponding to abnormality information regarding a filter of a DPF device, in the open area. The operator recognizes the warning and immediately stops the operation, moves to a place where the filter regeneration is possible while checking the safety of the surroundings by viewing the camera image, and then carries out the filter regeneration. After finishing, the operator confirms that the warning icon has disappeared, moves to the site of the operation while checking the safety of the surroundings by viewing the camera image (for normal times), and then restarts the operation.

  • Patent number: 8881506
Abstract: A hydraulic drive system for a hydraulic working machine sets a delivery pressure at a preset value upon raising a temperature of exhaust gas to a temperature needed for combustion of particulate matter by increasing a load to be applied to an engine. In a non-operation state, a variable restrictor is controlled by a controller and a delivery pressure control valve to increase a delivery pressure of a variable displacement hydraulic pump, so that the load is increased to raise the temperature of exhaust gas to the temperature needed for the particulate matter combustion. At this time, the controller controls the delivery pressure control valve such that a delivery pressure to be detected by a delivery pressure sensor will conform with a preset reference delivery pressure. The reference delivery pressure is set to a minimum pressure that can provide the exhaust gas with combustion heat.

  • Patent number: 8847745
Abstract: A display system for a working machine displays basic information at all times and, in case of an abnormality, displays the details of the warning in addition to the basic information to enable an operator to reliably recognize details of the warning. For example, a first warning display function, upon receiving an abnormality information signal relating to a charge warning, displays an appropriate warning icon in a warning icon display region. A simplified basic-information display function, then displays simplified basic-information images and a second warning display function displays, in a free area of the display, a second warning message inclusive of a “Charge warning” message as display details of the warning icon, and of character information relating to a simplified remedial action. The operator can then reliably recognize the “Charge warning” and understand its details as well, by viewing the second warning message in addition to the warning icon.

  • Patent number: 8646255
Abstract: An exhaust gas purification system for an engineering machine is capable of avoiding decreases in working efficiency during regeneration control by burning off a deposit of particulate matter from a filter efficiently during a work pause time. An operating section 17 of a display monitor 16 is used to set a work pause time and a work pause switch 13 notifies a vehicle body control unit 21 that the hydraulic excavator has entered a work pause state. In response, the vehicle body control unit 21 calculates the time required for a regenerating device to burn off the current amount of particulate matter deposited on the filter, and when the calculated time is longer than the preset work pause time, a regeneration controller 4a of an engine control unit 4 is activated, and a solenoid control valve 15 is switched to a closed position during the preset work pause time.

  • Publication number: 20130312616
Abstract: An exhaust purification system for a working machine reliably issues filter regeneration warnings to the operator, prompting manual regeneration, so that damage to the DPF device can be avoided. When a PM estimate becomes higher than a given value, a screen displays a warning message prompting manual regeneration. If the warning message fails to prompt the operator to perform manual regeneration and reference time t1 has passed since the display of the warning message, a speaker outputs a first warning sound. When the operator notices the first warning sound and turns on a regeneration switch, regeneration control is started. If the operator fails to notice the first warning sound and reference time t2 passes, the speaker instead outputs a second warning sound louder than the first warning sound. When the operator notices the second warning sound and turns on the regeneration switch, regeneration control is started.

  • Patent number: 8459008
Abstract: An exhaust gas treatment filter removes particulate matter from exhaust gas of a diesel engine. The particulate matter which accumulates on the filter is removed by a manual regeneration system that can simply be controlled. After a manual regeneration switch 22 is shifted to an ON-position, a load control section 66 keeps at least one of the revolution speed N of an engine 1, the displacement volume q and discharge pressure P of a hydraulic pressure pump 11 at a corresponding first target value (N1, q1, or P1) or second target value (N2, q2, or P2) depending on a temperature of the cooling water in relation to a flame-out prevention temperature T1. A regeneration control section 67 starts the compulsory regeneration after the manual regeneration switch has been shifted to the ON-position and when the cooling water temperature is equal to or higher than T1.
