  • Publication number: 20130213528
Abstract: A magnesium alloy member capable of achieving a mechanical strength and a high-temperature fatigue strength sufficient for a compressor for in automotive air conditioners The magnesium alloy member is formed by subjecting a cast material of a magnesium alloy containing, on the basis of mass %, from 0.3% to 10% calcium (Ca), from 0.2% to 15% aluminum (Al), and from 0.05% to 1.5% manganese (Mn), and containing calcium (Ca) and aluminum (Al) at a calcium/aluminum mass ratio of from 0.6 to 1.7, with the balance being magnesium (Mg) and inevitable impurities to plastic working (extrusion processing) at from 250° C. to 500° C. This makes it possible to obtain a magnesium alloy member having a room-temperature 0.2% proof stress of 300 MPa or more and a 150° C. fatigue strength of 100 MPa or greater.

  • Publication number: 20110136957
Abstract: A resin material for a refrigeration circuit comprising a compressor for a refrigerant, a condenser, a depressurizing/expanding means, and an evaporator, the resin material being disposed in the refrigeration circuit at such a position that the resin part comes into direct contact with the refrigerant. The resin material is characterized in that when R1234yf is used as the refrigerant, the resin material has chemical resistance at least to the refrigerant itself or ingredients generated by the decomposition of the refrigerant. This resin material is prevented from undergoing a chemical reaction with the refrigerant R1234yf itself or ingredients generated by the decomposition thereof. Consequently, refrigerant leakage caused by the decomposition of the resin material is prevented. Furthermore, clogging and a decrease in refrigerating performance, which are caused by the circulation of an undesirable compound through the circuit, are prevented.

  • Publication number: 20100230905
Abstract: A shaft sealing device (80) that partitions a high-pressure zone and a low-pressure zone from each other in a fluid machine has an elastic member (86) including a seal portion (88) that is brought into sliding contact with a seat face of a contact-target member that is either a rotary shaft (60) or a casing (12), and a case (82) that supports the elastic member (86). The elastic member (86) has a first elastic portion that continues to a high-pressure side boundary of the seal portion (88), which is located in the high-pressure zone side, and a second elastic portion that continues to a low-pressure side boundary of the seal portion (88), which is located in the low-pressure zone side. The case (82) restrains regions of the first and second elastic portions, the regions being located away from the seal portion (88).

  • Patent number: 7313999
Abstract: A piston includes a piston body fitted into a cylinder bore and having a sliding peripheral surface disposed in sliding contact with the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder bore. The sliding peripheral surface of the piston body and the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder bore each have a noncircular cross-sectional form. The sliding peripheral surface of the piston body is formed by an elastically deformable sealing member.
