  • Publication number: 20130279443
Abstract: A wireless communication device comprises a transmission unit for holding a wireless control resource exclusive to the wireless communication device, the wireless control resource being used in wireless communication to the other device; a reception unit for receiving a signal including data having at least one of first information and second information; and a reception extension control unit for extending the reception interval until a time where a first predetermined duration has elapsed, in a case where the data received by the reception unit includes the first information, the reception extension control device terminating the extension of the reception interval in a case where the reception extension control unit has extended the reception interval until the time where the first predetermined duration has elapsed and where the data received thereafter by the reception unit does not contain the first information.

  • Patent number: 8359058
Abstract: A mobile terminal apparatus includes a wireless communicator for communicating with a first wireless base station and a second wireless base station; and a controller. The controller measures a first signal quality and a second signal quality, the first signal quality being signal quality of a signal from the first wireless base station which is communicated with the communicator, the second signal quality being a signal quality of a signal received by the communicator from the second wireless base station, and executes a handover from the first wireless base station to the second wireless base station by controlling the communicator when the first signal quality is lower than the second signal quality and an integration value, along the time axis, of a difference between the first and the second signal qualities is more than a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20110053520
Abstract: A communication system includes a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter includes a data transmitting section configured to transmit data. The receiver includes a data receiving section, a memory, a memory managing section, and a control section. The data receiving section is configured to receive the data transmitted from the transmitter. The memory is configured to store the received data. The memory managing section is configured to manage a total number of free regions discretely allocated on the memory. The control section is configured to perform a control process in accordance with the total number of the free regions on the memory, the control process including at least one of request for starting flow control to the transmitter and reallocation of the data stored in the memory for reducing the total number of the free regions.
