  • Publication number: 20180249360
Abstract: A base station apparatus includes a traffic determination unit, a parameter generator and a setting information transmitter. The traffic determination unit determines whether a traffic amount is larger than a threshold. The parameter generator generates, when the traffic amount is larger than the threshold, indicator information indicating to the terminal to use a parameter set to a parameter region corresponding to a highest moving speed in mobility parameters to which a parameter decreasing with increasing moving speed of the terminal is set to a plurality of parameter regions respectively corresponding to a plurality of moving speeds of the terminal. The setting information transmitter transmits the indicator information to at least one terminal.

  • Publication number: 20180219643
Abstract: Provided are a base station device and a mobile station device, which can lighten a cell-search processing. The base station device includes a frame constitution unit for forming a frame, in which a pilot symbol multiplied by a base station scrambling code and a plurality of sequences contained in the corresponding sequence set is arranged in at least the head or tail, and a radio transmission unit for sending the formed frame. On the receiving side, the frame timing can be detected from the position of a pilot symbol contained in that frame. Since the base station scrambling code and the sequence set containing the sequences are made to correspond to each other, candidates can be narrowed to at most the base station scrambling codes of the number of the combinations of the sequences contained in the sequence set, by detecting the sequences multiplied by the pilot symbol.

  • Publication number: 20180139738
Abstract: A macrocell base station controls to reduce interference between cells by a downlink signal of the macrocell base station with specific timing, the interference which a downlink signal of a low transmission power cell suffers for a wireless terminal. A low transmission power cell base station decides measurement timing with which the wireless terminal measures reception quality of the low transmission power cell based on information about the specific timing, and sends a setting message including a parameter according to the measurement timing to the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal measures reception quality with the measurement timing indicated by the parameter, and when the wireless terminal satisfies a condition for executing an event based on the measured result, the wireless terminal sends a reception quality measurement message including information indicating that the measurement is made with the measurement timing to the low transmission power cell base station.

  • Publication number: 20180139674
Abstract: When a handover request for performing a handover of a terminal (70) from a macro cell C1 to a CSG cell C2 is received from an SeNB 10 (S8), a base station (TeNB) (40) of the CSG cell C2 transmits a handover response in accordance with a handover enabled/disabled state (S12). The handover response includes an identifier of the terminal (70) in the CSG cell C2. Upon receiving the response, the SeNB (10) notifies the identifier to the terminal (70) (S14). The TeNB (40) repeatedly transmits a dedicated signal containing a handover command via a dedicated channel set using the identifier at an interval shorter than a gap period (S18). Accordingly, whether or not access is permitted can be judged promptly and a smooth handover can be realized.

  • Publication number: 20180091995
Abstract: In a wireless communication terminal in a wireless communication system for performing a control not to transmit signals, or to transmit signals with a reduction in a transmission power by a part of radio resources for a downlink signal in a cell provided by a base station, the terminal receives control information in generating a report related to a measurement result of the cell provided by the base station, monitors a state of a radio link with an own cell, and performs measurement on reception of the downlink signal. If an instruction for restricting the measurement to a part of the radio resources is included in the control information from the base station after the radio link failure occurs, the terminal generates and transmits a radio link failure report including the measurement result in the radio resources as instructed when the radio link failure occurs.

  • Publication number: 20170230868
Abstract: An optimal mode is selected in a coordinated transmission, depending on a situation of a network, and thus, it is possible to increase performance of a system. Coordinated mode selector (112) selects a JT mode in a case where X2 transmission time included in feedback information received from another base station is less than a second threshold, and selects a Blanking mode in a case where the X2 transmission time is greater than or equal to the second threshold. Base station to base station coordinating controller (113) performs base station to base station coordination control between another base station and a base station so as to perform a coordinated mode stored in memory unit (104) in a case where the coordinated transmission starts, and performs the base station to base station coordination control between another base station and the base station again so as to perform the coordinated mode newly selected in a case where the coordinated mode selected by coordinated mode selector (112) changes.

  • Publication number: 20170086135
Abstract: The objective of the invention is to control switching of ON/OFF states of a cell without increasing the overhead of signaling to a terminal. A setting information reception unit (203) receives setting information related to a second offset value to be commonly added to reception-quality measurement-values of OFF-state base stations. A base station state determination unit (206) determines whether a reception quality measurement-target base station is an ON-state base station or an OFF-state base station. If the reception quality measurement-target base station is an OFF-state base station, the base station state determination unit (206) calculates a reception-quality measurement-result by adding at least the second offset value to a reception-quality measurement-value of the reception quality measurement-target base station, and then determines whether to report the reception-quality measurement-result.
