    Abstract: A liquid silicone rubber coating composition that is ideal for forming a coating on an air bag is provided. The composition includes: (A) an organopolysiloxane containing two or more alkenyl groups bonded to silicon atoms within each molecule, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms within each molecule, (C) an addition reaction catalyst, (D) a finely powdered silica with a specific surface area of at least 50 m2/g, (E) an organosilicon compound containing an epoxy group and a silicon atom-bonded alkoxy group within each molecule, and (F) a compound represented by a general formula: Al(OH)(OCOR)2 (wherein, R represents identical or different, unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon groups of 1 to 20 carbon atoms). Leakage of the inflator gas when the air bag is in an inflated state is suppressed, enabling production of an air bag that exhibits excellent sustainability of the inflation period.
