  • Patent number: 7261656
Abstract: An element for use in an annular metal belt (1) is disclosed. The annular metal belt (1) transmits torque between two pulleys each having a V-shaped groove. The element has a flank capable of making frictional contact with the V-shaped groove for transmission of torque. A plurality of threads are disposed on the flank substantially in parallel to one another. The threads has a slight height relative to a dimension of the flank, and the top section of each thread is substantially planar.

  • Patent number: 7200593
Abstract: A document management system can access a necessary document fast when necessary and accurately limit access in accordance with various security levels. An access control list shown in FIG. 2 mainly functions when access to a document is limited. One row in the access control list includes a plurality of fields which are described at the head row of each column. Information in each field included in one row (record) indicates the overall information necessary for setting predefined access control to the document including one character string. A “character string” field means that the document including the character string described in the field, of many documents stored in a database, is a document to which the access is limited.

  • Patent number: 6155874
Abstract: Terminals of a solenoid valve which come into contact with an electrode portion of a circuit body are formed in a curved shape so as to generate a biasing force. A lock member to be inserted into a mounting hole of the circuit body projects from a bottom face of the solenoid valve. By turning the solenoid valve with the lock member being inserted into the mounting hole, the lock member engages with the mounting hole by receiving the biasing force. Thus, the solenoid valve can be mounted easily. The terminals are in elastic contact with the electrode portion thereby a reliability of connection being enhanced.

  • Patent number: 6076552
Abstract: A valve comprises a spool with a land received in a bore of a valve body. The land is formed with at least one transfer passage. The land and cylindrical inner wall of the bore cooperate with each other to prevent any passage other than the transfer passage from opening between an inlet port and an outlet port. The transfer passage is always open to the outlet port and selectively uncovered by the cylindrical inner wall to communicate with the inlet port in response to movement of the spool.

  • Patent number: 5987173
Abstract: A drawing is read by a scanner to create raster data. A labeling process is executed for the data to extract a contour line for each pattern element resultant from the labeling process to produce contour line data and region data to manage, in a tree structure, information related to a circumscribed rectangle of each line segment of the contour line. When the operator picks by a pointing device a predetermined region on the screen of a display and a pair of line segments for recognition, there is retrieved region data corresponding to the specified region. After extracting contour line data associated with the retrieved region data, a center line creation process is executed according to the extracted contour line data.
