Abstract: There is provided a vehicle body structure, including: a die-cast rear floor side member; and a rocker rear inner; a joint section including: an upright wall configuring an inner side, in the vehicle width direction, of the rocker rear inner and extending along the vehicle vertical direction and the vehicle front-rear direction, and an outer joint section that is formed at the vehicle front-rear direction front end portion of the rear floor side member, that has an open cross-section profile, when sectioned along the vehicle vertical direction and the vehicle width direction, that is open toward an outer side in the vehicle width direction, that covers the rocker rear inner from the vehicle width direction inner side and that is joined to the rocker rear inner in a state in which a gap is provided between the outer joint section and the upright wall.
