  • Patent number: 7985197
Abstract: A therapeutic-substance carrying/administering appliance includes a cylindrical outer sheath; a slide member installed in the cylindrical outer sheath to be slidable therein; and a sheet supporting member, connected to a distal end of the slide member and made of a resilient material, for supporting a sheet-shaped therapeutic substance. The sheet supporting member is held in a flat unrolled shape in a free state in which the sheet supporting member projects outwardly from a distal end of the cylindrical outer sheath. When the sheet supporting member is in the free state, sliding the slide member in a retracting direction causes the sheet supporting member to contact the distal end of the cylindrical outer sheath, and subsequently further moving the slide member in the retracting direction causes the sheet supporting member to be retracted into the cylindrical outer sheath while being deformed into a tubular shape.

  • Publication number: 20090010636
Abstract: The finder optical system has a reflex mirror, a focal plane plate, a prism, an eyepiece, and a dust-proofing multilayer. The reflex mirror is disposed on an optical path of a photographing optical system. The focal plane plate is disposed at a position on which an image is formed by a light which passes through the photographing optical system and which is reflected by the reflex mirror. The light-input surface of the prism races a light-output surface of the focal plane plate. The eyepiece faces a light-output surface of the prism. The dust-proofing multilayer, which is provided on a surface of the focal plane plate, has a water-repellent or water- and oil-repellent layer and an anti-static layer.

  • Publication number: 20040142185
Abstract: An anti-reflection spectacle lens has an anti-reflection film composed of a plurality of layers formed on at least one surface of a lens substrate or other one or more layers formed on said lens substrate, the anti-reflection film comprising an outermost layer made of silicon oxide, on which a water- and oil-repellent layer is formed by vacuum deposition. The spectacle lens is excellent in water and oil repellency, and aqueous stains and oily stains attached to the spectacle lens can easily be wiped off. The use of a pellet impregnated with a hydrophobic, reactive organic compound in a vacuum deposition chamber contributes to the reduction of a production cost.
