  • Patent number: 7875329
Abstract: A thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in heat resistance, low in heat shrinkage and excellent in resistance to moisture vapor transmission, and is capable of improving the productivity of insulating glass units. The composition includes a thermoplastic resin (A) having a specific moisture vapor permeability; at least one kind of unvulcanized rubber (B) selected from the group consisting of a halide of a copolymer of para-methylstyrene and polyisobutylene and an ethylene propylene rubber; and a moisture absorbent (C). The weight ratio of the thermoplastic resin (A) to the unvulcanized rubber (B) is 85/15 to 15/85, and the content of the moisture absorbent (C) is 10 to 70 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the total of (A) and (B). The insulating glass unit uses the composition in at least a spacer.
