Patent number: 7996004Abstract: A wireless communication system and its test method capable of executing a test of the wireless communication apparatus from a remote place by using a terminal generally used in wireless communication systems are implemented with a low-cost configuration and a simple procedure. A terminal obtained by installing a test AP on a general terminal that is used in general wireless communication systems and that can execute APs via a communication network is placed in a coverage area of a wireless communication apparatus. A maintenance center for the wireless communication system activates the terminal. The terminal executes the test AP and conducts communication with the maintenance center by using control signals and test signals for testing wireless communication system. A test is executed by measuring an actual communication state of the wireless communication system.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2009Date of Patent: August 9, 2011Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Tsutomu Uchida, Koji Hayata, Hideo Aoe

Patent number: 7720480Abstract: To improve efficiency of a radio section while reducing a no-communication period in the case of handoff in communication used DRC and DSC signals. A communication connection apparatus (BS) 200 provided in a communication system accumulates data transmitted from the communication control apparatus (BSC) 300. In a state in which a DSC signal from a communication terminal (AT) 100 designates an owed BS, when a DRC indication from the AT 100 is switched from another BS to the owned BS, the BS 200 transmits data received from the BSC 300 last to the AT 100 out of the data accumulated in the BS 200. Consequently, missing data is requested from the BS 200 at a handoff destination in accordance with a retransmission request function existing in the AT 100. Moreover, retransmission processing for data by a retransmission request message is performed in the BS 200.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2006Date of Patent: May 18, 2010Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Takaaki Suzuki, Yi Lou, Hideo Aoe

Patent number: 7702366Abstract: Terminals #1 to #3 which have already been connected and a terminal #4 which wants to make a new connection send packets to a base station in that order. The base station queues the packets from the terminals #1 to #3 at a non-priority queue and the packet from the terminal #4 at a priority queue. For example, a predetermined amount of packets from a new connection is queued at the priority queue. Packets in the priority queue are dequeued with priority. Therefore, the packet sent from the terminal #4 is first sent to a base-station controller, and then the packets sent from the terminals #1 to #3 are sent to the base-station controller. As a result, the base-station controller first receives the packet sent from the terminal #4, and the period of time required for the terminal #4 to establish a connection is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2006Date of Patent: April 20, 2010Assignees: Hitachi Communication Technologies, Ltd., Hitachi Information & Communication Engineering, Ltd.Inventors: Takaaki Suzuki, Junpei Watanabe, Akio Kawase, Shingo Sasaki, Hideo Aoe
