    Abstract: A concrete prefabricated basement having a number of underground units, each of which includes a bottom plate portion having a generally rectangular shape and a side plate portion, to form a rectangular box-shaped structure with an open top, the number of underground units being arranged side by side in a lateral direction of the underground units, and any adjacent two of the number of underground units being connected to each other, so that each of the underground units comprises a number of precast concrete blocks abutted one to another at parallel planes perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the underground units, the blocks being integrated with each other by a first connecter, and in which the blocks have a waterproof layer and a protective layer on the waterproof layer over the entire outer surface of the bottom plate portion and side plate portions of the blocks; and a method for constructing such a basement, as well as a house construction with such a basement.
