    Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide an electron microscope capable of obtaining a sufficient energy resolution without forming a long drift space and capable of attaining high energy discrimination detection performance with approximately the same device size as in the related art. The electron microscope according to the invention includes a pulsed electron emission mechanism configured to emit an electron beam in a pulsed manner, and discriminates energy of signal electrons by discriminating the signal electrons, which are emitted from a sample by irradiating the sample with the electron beam, according to a time of flight (see FIG. 2).

    Abstract: A synthetic method for ammonium dinitramide comprising a process for the formation of urea nitrate by reacting urea with diluted nitric acid; a process for the formation of nitrourea by reacting the urea nitrate with sulfuric acid; a process of reacting the nitrourea with a nitration reagent such as nitronium tetrafluoroborate, and then adding ammonia gas to the reaction mixture; and a process of filtering off the resultant by-product of crystals, concentrating its filtrate, adding ethyl acetate to this concentrated filtrate, filtering off the precipitate, concentrating again its filtrate under vacuum, and finally separating ADN as crystals by adding chloroform to the concentrated filtrate.Effects:ADN can be synthesized with the following features: urea as starting material is readily available and is cheaper in price, the process is uncomplicated and more simplified, the operation is safe, and the final product gives a high yield.

    Abstract: The color separating method for color photographing or printing is such that in case a color photosensitive material is used and the color separation is carried out by the color separating method, three kinds of filters consisting of three primary colors are caused to be sequentially or selectively disposed upon or removed from the optical axis of a light condensing unit in a lens group consisting of a large number of lenses of an optical system, and white light conducted from one end of the lens group is made to project the separated color component at the other end. The three filters are disposed upon a rotary filter support board which is selectively rotated by a control motor and a controller for the control motor which receives input control signals from a suitable source and outputs control signals to the control motor.
