  • Publication number: 20140311095
Abstract: A drink package is manufactured by a method including the steps of: blasting hydrogen peroxide mist (M) or gas (G) into a container (2) in an erected attitude through a mouth portion (2a); activating the hydrogen peroxide in the container (2) in an inverted attitude by blasting heated aseptic air (N) through the mouth portion (2a) thereof directed downward, and simultaneously, removing foreign substance (P) from the inside of the container (2) by replacing air in the container (2) with the aseptic air (N); filling the container (2) in the erected attitude with drink (a) through the mouth portion (2a) directed upward; and closing the mouth portion (2a) of the container (2) by applying a lid (3) to the mouth portion (2a) of the container (2).

  • Patent number: 4505101
Abstract: An apparatus for removing trash in an open-end spinning frame is disclosed herein. According to the invention, an open-end spinning unit is provided with a trash transporting chamber which is communicated with an opening which is formed on part of the inner peripheral surface of a space in which a combing roller is rotatably disposed and through which part of the circumferential surface of the rotating combing roller is exposed. The trash transporting chamber is so constructed that its interior is placed substantially under an atmospheric pressure, and a side wall thereof facing opposedly toward the opening is spaced from the circumferential surface of the combing roller exposed through said opening at a distance falling within a range from a dimension which is substantially equal to the diameter of the combing roller to a dimension which is about two times said diameter.

  • Patent number: 3975798
Abstract: Safety device of a carding machine provided with a pair of crushing rollers wherein a scraping plate is urged to the cylindrical surface of each crushing roller for the entire length thereof. Each scraping plate is turnably supported by a pin so that it can be moved away from the corresponding crushing roller when required. The turning motion of each scraping plate away from or toward the corresponding crushing roller, can be carried out simultaneously by means for setting the position of each scraping plate and a manually operable handle which actuates the setting means. The main driving motor of the carding machine is connected, in series with a main switch and a control switch, to an electric source. The control switch is closed when the handle is operated so as to fix the scraping plates in contacting condition with the corresponding crushing rollers and, on the other hand, the control switch is opened when the scraping plates are moved away from the corresponding crushing rollers.

  • Patent number: 3971103
Abstract: A safety device for stopping the bale plucking operation of a bale plucker provided with a detecting device for detecting the existence of metallic substances contained in a fiber bale. The detecting device is disposed at a position along a path of reciprocating movement of the fiber bale back and forth over the working position of a plucking roller of the bale plucker and the driving mechanism of the bale plucker is capable of being instantly stopped by a signal issued from the detecting device upon detection of a metallic substance in the fiber bale so that carrying of the fiber bale to the plucking roller can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 3939929
Abstract: In a spinning machine having a weighing device for receiving fiber tufts from a hopper thereof and for intermittently supplying a block of fiber tufts of a predetermined quantity to a subsequent process by repeated unit supply operations, the gauge between a lifting apron and an evener cylinder of the opening machine is reduced to a predetermined small gauge during a last period of each unit supply operation. Further the driving speed of the lifting apron is capable of selectively reducing during the above-mentioned last period and the supplying operation is continued until the quantity of fiber tufts accumulated in a weigh pan of the weighing mechanism becomes a predetermined final quantity for the unit supply operation.
