  • Patent number: 8189026
Abstract: A method of correcting print images in an electrophotographic printer wherein an image formed by a print head (3) on a peripheral surface of a photoconductor drum (1) is transferred and printed on a sheet of paper. The method comprises: furnishing the print head with a standard tacho signal in the form of pulses and thereby printing on a sheet of paper a check mark (9) for each given number of pulses of the standard tacho signal while the photoconductor drum makes one rotation; by means of a camera (10), detecting a periodic deviation in each spacing between successive such check marks; in response to the deviation in each spacing between the successive check marks, varying the pulse width of pulses of the standard tacho signal for each spacing between the successive check marks, thereby to provide a modified tacho signal; and effecting printing thereafter based on the modified tacho signal.

  • Publication number: 20120128395
Abstract: A sheet-fed duplex printer comprises a pair of impression cylinders 6a, 6b and first and second electrophotographic printing units 7a and 7b. Each of the cylinders is provided on a peripheral surface thereof with a paper gripper for gripping a sheet of paper. The cylinders and printing units are so disposed relative to each other and suitably operated for printing on one face of the sheet of paper as it is conveyed following the peripheral surface of one cylinder, and for printing on the other face of the sheet of paper as it is conveyed following the peripheral surface of the other cylinder. This arrangement allows high precision and high speed printing of a sheet of paper large in size without increasing the entire apparatus length.

  • Patent number: 8150285
Abstract: A toner supplier apparatus 1 is provided for stabilizing the concentration of toner reserved in a main tank. A concentration sensor for measuring the concentration of the toner is provided in a toner-feeding pipeway for supplying liquid toner from a main tank for adjusting the concentration to the developer apparatus. High concentration toner and diluent supplied to the main tank are controlled based on the concentration measured by the concentration sensor. Accordingly, accuracy of the toner supplier apparatus used for an electronic photograph printer in measuring the concentration of the toner can be improved, thereby permitting accurate control for the concentration in a printed image.
