  • Publication number: 20070066360
Abstract: There is provided a wireless communication method and an information processing apparatus capable of preventing interference from occurring between different wireless communication modules such as a wireless LAN module and a Bluetooth (BT) module when different wireless modules using the same frequency band are stored and used in the same apparatus. The Bluetooth (BT) module 24 secures a frequency band used by the wireless LAN module 23 in case of communicating with other apparatus such as a headset for IP telephone not shown, and then communicates by using a frequency of channel available in the other frequency region other than the frequency band. The BT module 24 transmits channel information of the secured frequency band used by the wireless LAN module 23 to the wireless LAN module 23.

  • Patent number: 6340941
Abstract: A digital-signal forming circuit demodulates a time-divisionally received signal, and shapes the demodulated signal by comparing the demodulated signal with a reference voltage. When a non-receiving time slot has a small interference signal, the digital-signal forming circuit uses, as the reference voltage, a direct-current voltage obtained by averaging the demodulated signal. When the non-receiving time slot has a large interference signal, the digital-signal forming circuit uses a predetermined direct-current voltage as the reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 4964962
Abstract: A method for forming a conducting metal layer on an inorganic substrate is to heat the inorganic substrate accommodated in a vacuum vessel of sputtering device in which a high degree of vacuum is attained, to lead into the vacuum vessel a discharge gas as regulated to be at a predetermined pressure, to apply a high frequency power with the inorganic substrate made as a target, to interrupt the power to regulate the discharge gas to be at a predetermined pressure relatively low, and to apply DC power with a conductive metal member made as a target for thereby forming the conducting metal layer on the inorganic substrate. The metal layer formation on the inorganic substrate is thereby simplified enough for improving the producibility in industrial scale and is still capable of attaining a satisfactory bonding strength between the metal layer and the substrate.

  • Patent number: 4952888
Abstract: A PLL for direct modulation having a flat modulation characteristic in the audio frequency range is described. The PLL for the direct modulation comprises a voltage controlled oscillator whose oscillating frequency is controlled by an output voltage of a low pass filter and also modulated by a signal, a programmable frequency divider supplied with an output signal of the voltage controller oscillator or the output signal divided in frequency, and a phase comparator comparing an output frequency f.sub.p of the programmable frequency divider with a reference frequency f.sub.r. The phase comparator outputs signals indicating three conditions in accordance with the results of the comparison: a first transistor turned ON by the output signal of the phase comparator indicating the condition f.sub.r >f.sub.p for charging a capacitor within the low pass filter; a second transistor turned ON by the output signal of the phase comparator indicating the condition f.sub.r >f.sub.
