Abstract: A television game machine includes a housing. The housing has an air intake and air exit in side surfaces, and forms an air flow passage in a space of air flow on a line connecting between the air intake and the air exit. A heat-radiating member formed with heat-radiating fins is attached in a state electrically insulated from a semiconductor device mounted on the printed board in order to transfer heat generated from the semiconductor device. The heat-radiating member is arranged related to the semiconductor device and printed board such that the heat-radiating fins are along the air flow passage. A heat-radiating fan is arranged between at least one of the air intake and the air exit and one end of the heat-radiating member.

  • Patent number: 6117551
Abstract: The present invention relates to a carbon fiber prepreg. The carbon fiber prepreg of the present invention is characterized in that a carbon fiber bundle comprising a plurality of continuous carbon filaments and having a hook drop value of 10 cm or more as the degree of fiber entanglement is impregnated with a base resin mainly composed of a thermosetting resin, and that particles of 150 .mu.m or less in particle size made of a thermoplastic resin account for 20 wt % or less based on the weight of the entire prepreg and distributed at a higher concentration in the surface zone than in the inside. The carbon fiber prepreg of the present invention is good in tackiness and less changing in tackiness with the lapse of time, and can form a composite with an excellent compression interlaminar shear strength (CILS) at high temperature after moisture absorption while maintaining good impact resistance.

  • Patent number: 5994864
Abstract: A control apparatus and compliance control apparatus of a robot which performs operations while switching between a position control and a compliance control. When a transition from the position control to the compliance control is made, an integration operation of a speed control system is stopped. Thereafter, an integration value of the speed control system is stored in a memory, and, at the same time, the integration value is added to a torque reference. Alternately, a gravity compensation value is added to the torque reference, the gravity compensation value being computed based on a joint angle of a robot arm and a link mass and a position of a center of gravity of the robot. When the control returns from the compliance control to the position control, a present position is dealt with an instruction position.

  • Patent number: 5985431
Abstract: A prepreg comprising (a) reinforcing fibers and (b) a matrix resin which comprises specific epoxy resin composition, a curing agent with a specific structure and a highly heat resistant thermoplastic resin, the cured product of which has a low water absorption. An interlayer toughened prepreg containing reinforcing fibers and a matrix resin comprising a specific epoxy resin composition, a hardening agent with a specific structure and a highly heat resistant thermoplastic resin is also provided. In addition, a cured product can be obtained by curing any of the above prepregs, which product satisfies both impact resistance (residual compressive strength after impact) and heat and wet property (compressive strength of notched coupon at high temperature and high humidity) at high levels, even though these properties have been in contradictory relation in the conventional techniques.

  • Patent number: 5779491
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a configuration wherein, in a multipolar electrical connector B, when a counter electrical connector 100 is not inserted, a number of contacts 3 are individually protected from an external force, and, when the counter electrical connector 100 is inserted, even if the contacts are somewhat bent, the contacts can be connected in an unforced manner with contacts of the counter electrical connector. In the multipolar electrical connector B, a cover member 4 is disposed in an insertion space 2 formed in the body 1, so as to be movable in extracting and retracting directions. The tip ends of the contacts 3 are housed in hole portions 41 of the cover member 4. Spring members 5 for urging the cover member 4, and an engaging mechanism 10 which restricts the position of the cover member are disposed between the body 1 and the cover member 4.
