  • Patent number: 9277064
Abstract: A script language compatible with HTML is used to define methods or objects capable of communicating directly with an intelligent module for printing operations without going through a web browser's print selection option. A print API library provides the needed methods/objects for embedding into a web page. The intelligent module may be a stand-alone electronic device, or may be an intelligent device incorporated into a printer. The intelligent module may manage multiple printers directly or through a network, and it functions to provide a communication bridge for translating/conveying communication between the print APIs on a web page and a target printer. The print API knows the fixed IP address of the intelligent module, and define a print document or print commands and send it directly to the intelligent module by means of the known IP address.

  • Patent number: 9268751
Abstract: An information distribution system reduces the effort required to change an application in conjunction with changes in process content and changes in the receiver type or specifications while also accommodating broadcast processes. A style sheet database stores a plurality of output style sheets, which are information conversion rules including conditional expressions related to information distribution. An integrated device control service acquires output data and receiver information specifying the address of the receiver and the output style sheet corresponding to said receiver. When the output data satisfies the conditional expression contained in the output style sheet, the integrated device control service distributes converted output data, which is the output data converted based on the output style sheet, to the address of the receiver.

  • Patent number: 9253221
Abstract: The effort of changing an application in conjunction with a change in process content or change in the type or specifications of a receiver can be reduced, and a cooperative process involving a plurality of receivers without going through an application can be achieved. An integrated device control service acquires output data, information related to the address of a first receiver and a first style sheet for the first receiver, and information related to the address of a second receiver and a second style sheet for the second receiver from an application and a style sheet database that stores a plurality of style sheets describing information conversion rules. In accordance with the success or failure of first conversion data distribution, the integrated device control service sends second conversion data, which is the output data converted according to the second style sheet, to the second receiver.

  • Publication number: 20150249411
Abstract: An object is to perform discharge of a capacitor using a motor without rotating the motor even when connected to a position sensorless motor. The motor drive apparatus calculates a voltage pulse width at which a motor does not rotate or vibrate using a both-end voltage of a smoothing capacitor and an inductance estimation value of the motor, and applies a voltage with the voltage pulse width to the motor to calculate an inductance. Then, a rotor position is estimated using the inductances calculated for individual switching patterns. A motor current is caused to flow on the basis of the estimated rotor position to perform discharge of charge accumulated in the smoothing capacitor.

  • Patent number: 9073266
Abstract: A method and apparatus for welding members formed of thermoplastic resin material, with high welding strength and small strength variations. A laser welding apparatus 1 brings a first member 2 formed of a transmissive thermoplastic resin that transmits a laser beam into contact with a second member 3 formed of an absorptive thermoplastic resin that absorbs the laser beam, and joins the thermoplastic resin members by melting their contact surfaces 4 with the laser beam. The laser welding apparatus 1 further comprises a laser beam generator 10 for irradiating the contact surfaces with the laser beam shone from the side of the first member 3 so as to melt at least one of the contact surfaces of the first member and the second member.

  • Publication number: 20150183058
Abstract: Disclosed is a technique on laser welding capable of achieving a desired penetration depth without an oxide film remaining in a deep portion of a molten pool. In a welding device (1) that emits a laser beam focusing on a working point (P), the laser beam has a profile similar to a profile of a superimposed laser beam at the working point. The superimposed laser beam is formed by superimposing a first laser beam and a second laser beam having a beam diameter smaller than that of the first laser beam. in the profile of the laser beam, a portion corresponding to the first laser beam has a power density allowing thermal-conduction type welding. In the profile of the laser beam, a portion corresponding to the second laser beam has a power density allowing keyhole type welding.

  • Publication number: 20150158119
Abstract: Disclosed is a technique for quickly detecting a defect of a portion welded by laser beam welding. Specifically disclosed is a welding step in which a welding device is used, the welding device welding an object to be welded with a pulsed laser. In the welding step, a first photodetector receives only infrared rays having a wavelength allowing detection of a keyhole formed in a molten pool from among infrared rays radiating from a welded portion during the welding of the object, and an analyzer determines quality of the welded portion on the basis of intensity of the infrared rays received by the first photodetector.
