    Abstract: An IC card incorporates a processor, a memory, etc. The memory stores therein a general electronic money balance having an unlimited use range, a specific electronic money balance having a limited use range, and available genre information defining a use range of the specific electronic money balance. A transfer processing unit serves to transfer a specified amount of money from the general electronic money balance to the specific electronic money balance between two IC cards. A settlement processing unit compares genre information acquired from a purchased commodity or a provided service with the available genre information of the IC card and, only when a coincidence has occurred, deducts the purchased amount of money from the specific electronic money balance of the IC card.

A service processing unit refers to the purchase history information of the IC card on the basis of the genre of a purchased commodity to acquire purchase results. The service processing unit further refers to the premium information of the IC card on the basis of the acquired purchase results to acquire corresponding premium values, thereby providing discount services or points in conformity with the acquired premium values.

    Abstract: A receiver of advertisement information registers an advertisement reception requirement to a distribution host computer through a receiver terminal. A sender registers an advertisement transmission requirement to the distribution host computer through a sender terminal. The host computer references receiver attributes and desired categories of the advertisement recorded in the advertisement reception requirement, and categories and desired attributes for the receivers recorded in the advertisement transmission requirement, and generates a distribution list that satisfies both desire of the receiver and of the sender. An advertisement document is distributed to selected receivers corresponding to the distribution list.

    Abstract: An IC card having therein an IC including a processor and a memory is issued to a consumer. The consumer himself registers personal information onto the card. The card in which the personal information has been registered is set into a terminal device of a service providing system and receives an automatic presentation of the service. Upon registration, the consumer sets a disclosure flag with respect to only the information to be disclosed, thereby providing the personal information only when the disclosure flag has been set in response to a request of the personal information from the service providing system. When the disclosure flag has been reset, the consumer doesn't provide the personal information.

    Abstract: A ticketless system for processing information for issuance of an airplane ticket or the like by using an IC card. The ticketless system includes a coupon ticket issuing module for recording coupon ticket issue information onto a distribution source card to enable plural use of the distribution source card. A coupon ticket moving module records coupon ticket movement information which moves a part of the coupon ticket of the distribution source card to a distribution destination card and enables the coupon ticket movement information to be used with the distribution destination card. A use processing module processes a use such as a reservation, a ticket issuance, a check-in, or a boarding by using the distribution source card or distribution destination card. In addition, a temporary card issuing module issues a temporary card in which a name of the user is not registered on the ticketless system and which is temporarily used.
