  • Patent number: 7588836
Abstract: Disclosed is a phosphated galvanized steel sheet comprising a steel sheet, a zinc-plating layer of ? single phase which is formed on at least one side of the steel sheet and contains Ni in an amount of not less than 10 ppm by mass and not more than the solubility limit thereof, and a phosphate layer which is formed on the zinc-plating layer and contains Mg in an amount of not less than 0.1 % by mass and less than 2.0 % by mass. Although this steel sheet is not subjected to sealing, it has corrosion resistance equivalent to or higher than those of conventional steel sheets which have been subjected to sealing, while having excellent blackening resistance.

  • Publication number: 20090035659
Abstract: A lithium-containing composite oxide represented by the formula 1: LixNi1-y-z-v-wCoyAlzM1vM2wO2 is used as a positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. The element M1 is at least one selected from the group consisting of Mn, Ti, Y, Nb, Mo, and W. The element M2 includes at least two selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba, and the element M2 includes at least Mg and Ca. The formula 1 satisfies 0.97?x?1.1, 0.05?y?0.35, 0.005?z?0.1, 0.0001?v?0.05, and 0.0001?w?0.05. The primary particles have a mean particle size of 0.1 ?m or more and 3 ?m or less, and the secondary particles have a mean particle size of 8 ?m or more and 20 ?m or less.

  • Publication number: 20080311473
Abstract: The present invention provides a cathode active material that makes possible a high capacity nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that has excellent discharge load characteristics that provide both good cycle characteristics and thermal stability. The cathode active material comprises a lithium nickel composite oxide having the compositional formula LiNi1?aMaO2 (where, M is at least one kind of element that is selected from among a transitional metal other than Ni, a group 2 element, and group 13 element, and 0.01?a?0.5) to which fine lithium manganese composite oxide particle adhere to the surface thereof. This lithium nickel composite oxide is obtained by adding manganese salt solution to a lithium nickel composite oxide slurry, causing manganese hydroxide that contains lithium to adhere to the surface of the lithium nickel composite oxide particles, and then baking that lithium nickel composite oxide.

  • Publication number: 20080063891
Abstract: The phosphate-treated zinc-coated steel sheet has: a steel sheet; a zinc-coating layer of a single ?-phase containing Ni in a range from 10 ppm by mass to solid solution limit, being formed on at least one side of the steel sheet; and a phosphate-treated layer containing Mg in a range from not less than 0.1% by mass to less than 2.0% by mass, being formed on the zinc-coating layer. The steel sheet without treated by sealing has corrosion resistance equivalent to or higher than that of conventional products treated by sealing, and also has excellent blackening resistance.

  • Patent number: 6548460
Abstract: The coating composition includes a methacrylic resin prepared by copolymerization of styrene or a substituted styrene (A), a methacrylic ester obtained from an alcohol having at least two carbon atoms and methacrylic acid (B), and an olefinic compound having at least one carboxylic group (C), in which the molar ratio thereof is 1:(0.05 to 44.5):(0.12 to 13). A metal sheet lubricated with the coating composition has superior characteristics of dissolution of the film in an alkaline solution, chemical processing, paint dryness, blocking resistance, corrosion resistance, stability of coating composition, and press formability (powdering resistance and galling resistance).
