Abstract: An operation management terminal is controlled to display message information for system management output form a plurality of system management units in an integrated fashion. A rule is acquired for selecting a management screen most related to predetermined message information from among a plurality of Web-based management screens provided by the system management units. Information is acquired in which a parameter necessary for displaying the management screen selected is defined. A management screen that is most related to one of the message information displayed in an integrated fashion is selected based on the information acquired. A Web-based management screen selected is displayed on a Web browser based on the parameter defined in the information acquired.

Abstract: Disclosed is a novel luminaire wherein a switching power supply circuitry is used to operate one or more incandescent lamps at a dc voltage exceeding their rating. The luminaire emits a flickerless light with a color temperature of about 2,900 K. or higher which is natural, closer to sunlight, superior in color rendering properties, gentle to the eyes, therefore very useful in illumination. The switching power supply circuitry exhibits a high power efficiency and capacity, and the output voltage is easily regulatable to a desired magnitude for lamp dimming.

Abstract: A salimeter based on the electric conductivity measurement of an objective liquid solution and devised so as to give the salinity of the solution instantly without any correction or adjustment with respect to a temperature of the solution. The apparatus is divided into a main electronic circuit portion and a measuring probe or probes to be detachably connected to the main circuit portion through a connecting cable. Each of the probes is provided with a pair of electrodes and a temperature sensor, both to be immersed directly in an objective solution, while the main circuit portion comprises a first means for measuring the conductivity between the electrodes, a second means for generating a temperature effect compensation signal according to an output from the temperature sensor and an arithmetic divider for outputting a ratio of the measured conductivity to the temperature effect compensation signal.

Abstract: A heater control device in which a heater is made to double as a temperature sensor so as to eliminate the leading wires used exclusively for the temperature sensor. The heater control device includes a zero-crossing detector which generates a short duration pulse signal each time an AC power voltage is crossing the zero-level. The heater acts as a temperature sensor only for the short duration of the pulse signal.

Abstract: A non-continuous sensing device for a temperature control including A.C. power switching element, a zero-crossing detector, a temperature sensor and a trigger pulse generator for generating a trigger pulse used to trigger the A.C. power switching element according to an output of the temperature sensor. The zero-crossing detector generates a pulse signal each time the instantaneous absolute value of the A.C. power voltage decreases to a value equal to or smaller than a predetermined value. The temperature sensor and the trigger pulse generator are kept active only for the duration of the pulse signal generated by the zero-crossing detector, thereby reducing the energy consumption and physical size of the entire device.

Abstract: The electronic cash register includes a slip printer unit in addition to a two-station printer housed in a main cabinet, wherein the slip printer unit includes a slip printer and a slip feeder both housed in a casing mounted on the long, narrow top surface of the main cabinet, and wherein the slip printer conducts line-by-line printing on the slip paper which is longitudinally fed on the top surface of the main cabinet, thereby enabling the operator to handle the cash register in his easy, natural posture, and additionally admitting of the effective use of the long, narrow top surface of the main cabinet.
