  • Publication number: 20060149411
Abstract: A numerical controller that accurately restores a state in a resumption point and is capable of auto-generating a state restoring program for restoring to the resumption point without executing a machining program. The numerical controller is a numerical controller that carries out the machining according to the machining program, and has a restoring function for restoring the state at the time of suspension by using a resumption program created from the machining program. The restoring function includes the command extracting means for extracting commands to execute machine operations from the resumption program and state restoring program creating means which arranges the extracted commands in the order of programs of the machining program and creates the state restoring program.

  • Publication number: 20050267626
Abstract: A numerical controller designed to reduce a wait time between power turn-on and machine activation. When power to the numerical controller is turned on, programs of additional functions are each selected to be either transferred or not. The selection is made by setting each of the programs of the additional functions either to be transferred or not on a display screen or by an external input signal inputted from a machine operation panel or the like. Only the selected system programs of the additional functions are transferred from the nonvolatile memory to the volatile memory. At the time of the power turn-on of the numerical controller, only the system programs of the additional functions to be used at the moment are transferred. The data to be transferred from the nonvolatile memory to the volatile memory is thus reduced, and the transfer time is shortened. Consequently, the wait time between power turn-on and machine activation is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050024003
Abstract: A numerical control device is provided with a synchronous control unit that moves a slave axis in synchronization with a master axis, based on a movement command given to the master axis. The synchronous control unit is provided with a synchronous control object setting unit that determines a plurality of axes as objects of synchronous control, a synchronous control processing unit that gives movement commands to the plurality of axes to be synchronized/controlled, and a synchronous control command axis determination unit that sets one axis for which a movement command is given as a master axis in the synchronous control in association with the movement command, and sets the axes other than the master axis among the plurality of axes to be synchronously controlled as slave axes.
