  • Publication number: 20170104978
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for enhancing a sequence of video images to add depth and presenting the enhanced images to the user through a lenticular lens arrangement on a display screen for viewing the enhanced images in three-dimensions (3D). The embodiments include the application of image enhancing algorithms which measure spatial and temporal differences between sequential images in an input video stream in order to measure depth within the images and produce one or more interleaved images with depth. Multiple sequential interleaved images may then be created in real-time as the images from the video stream are received, and the sequence of interleaved images may then be presented immediately as a video stream on a display fitted with a lenticular lens to effectively display a 3D video to the user.

  • Patent number: 7407018
Abstract: A hedge trimmer is provided which performs a trimming operation on a hedge. The hedge trimmer includes a machine body, a handle rotatably attached to the machine body, a throttle lever provided in the handle, a locking mechanism for preventing the handle from rotating relative to the machine body, and an unlocking member for unlocking the locking mechanism from the machine body. The unlocking of the locking mechanism from the machine body is effected by a slide movement of the unlocking member towards a rear part of the handle. When unlocking the locking mechanism from the machine body, the unlocking member surrounds the throttle lever so that the throttle lever can be inoperable with the result that the throttle lever is prevented from being erroneously operated during the rotational operation of the handle.

  • Patent number: 7360312
Abstract: A bush cutter has a driving bevel gear housed in a first box constituting a part of a gearbox, and a driven bevel gear housed in a second box and engaging the driving bevel gear. The driving bevel gear is rotatably retained in a first bearing. The first bearing is screw-fitted into the first box movably in an axially longitudinal direction of the driving bevel gear. Rotation of the first bearing causes the driving bevel gear to move in the axially longitudinal direction to finely adjust the engagement of the driving bevel gear with the driven bevel gear.

  • Patent number: 7287331
Abstract: A power working machine has a machine body, a drive source mounted on the machine body for driving a work implement connected to the machine body, and an operating handle mounted on the machine body for undergoing rotation relative to the machine body. A throttle lever is mounted on the operating handle for undergoing pivotal movement to adjust an output of the drive source. A lock mechanism is mounted on the operating handle for locking the operating handle at a preselected rotational angular position relative to the machine body. A lock cancellation lever is mounted on the operating handle for unlocking the lock mechanism to thereby permit rotational movement of the operating handle relative to the machine body. A stopper section is mounted on the operating handle for permitting operation of the lock mechanism while preventing pivotal movement of the throttle lever and for preventing operation of the lock mechanism while permitting pivotal movement of the throttle lever.

  • Patent number: 7155830
Abstract: A portable working machine has a motive power source for producing a rotational motion, a cutting blade mounted to undergo linear reciprocating motion, and a reduction mechanism for reducing a speed of the rotational motion produced by the motive power source. A motion conversion mechanism converts the rotational motion reduced in speed by the reduction mechanism into a linear reciprocating motion of the cutting blade. A case accommodates therein the reduction mechanism and the motion conversion mechanism and has a lower surface. A cover member covers the lower surface of the case. The cover member has a first part connected to the lower surface of the case and a second part contiguous to the first part and extending to underlie a part of the lower surface of the case located below the reduction mechanism with a space defined between the part of the lower surface of the case and the second part of the cover member.
