  • Publication number: 20140025218
Abstract: An electrical power control device is installed in each location in which an electric power generation facility and an electrical power storage facility are provided. The electrical power control device includes the processor that executes a process. The process includes storing therein, in an associated manner for each location, an evaluation value related to the electrical power transmission load of another location and the electrical power balance in the other location. The process includes selecting, based on the evaluation value and the electrical power balance stored in a storage when the electrical power balance in a subject location is less than a predetermined threshold, another location as the request destination of electrical power transmission. The process includes sending, to the other location selected at the selecting, a request indicating that electrical power needs to be transmitted from the other location to the subject location.

  • Publication number: 20030118039
Abstract: A gateway, for connecting an existing public switched telephone network (PSTN) and an Internet Protocol (IP) network, separating hardware into an interface unit with the PSTN, a processing unit having a conversion function between a PCM signal and IP packets, an IP interface unit, and a control unit for controlling the overall apparatus. By switching these hardware blocks to match with the type of the network and the type of the media, it becomes possible to achieve compatibility with various types of PSTNs and IP networks and various services such as VoIP and NAS/RAS. Also, a function block for enabling access to the duplex control units from a maintenance system or the like by a single MAC address and autonomously restoring the system from failure due to a software logic conflict and a function block for preventing file destruction are provided.

  • Patent number: 6049591
Abstract: A grievance call processing system capable of automatically shifting a grievance call reception state to a test state. An electronic switchboard notifies the telephone number information of a subscriber to a workstation, which stores and displays the telephone number information. When a maintenance person makes a test activation from the workstation upon reception of a grievance call the telephone number information is simultaneously and automatically notified to a testing trunk, which provides the telephone number information to the electronic switchboard, which then sets up a testing path from the workstation to a subscriber testing equipment through the testing trunk for the preparation of a subscriber test state.

  • Patent number: 5572189
Abstract: An alarm collection apparatus for use in an exchange system has a plurality of local offices, a central maintenance office, a toll switch, and an alarm link. The local offices include an enhanced local office and a conventional local office, the enhanced local office having enhanced features with respect to the number of alarm collection points, a display function thereof, and a man-machine alarms interface. An alarm collection shelf collects alarm information from the conventional local office in the same manner as from the enhanced local office, by converting the data format used for the conventional office to one which corresponds to the data format used for the enhanced office. The alarm collection shelf also collects alarms from a radio base office.
