  • Patent number: 6641987
Abstract: Disclosed is a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material including at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support, and having an ISO sensitivity of 640 or more, wherein the material exhibits a color saturation evaluation value &eegr;, represented by equation (I) below, of −15 dB or more. &eegr;=10 log(1/VT) [VT=(⅙)×((62−Y1)2+(62−Y2)2+(62−Y3)2+(62−Y4)2+(62−Y5)2+(62−Y6)2)]  (I) In Formula (I), each of Y1 to Y6 is a value obtained by exposing 12 colors of a Macbeth color chart with six exposure amounts, from −1 under to +4 over, measuring the saturation of each resultant color, and averaging the data (chroma values) for a corresponding exposure amount.

  • Patent number: 6175403
Abstract: A printer control pictorial tool consists of an eye portion having a neutral gray, portraits arranged around the eye portion, and a gray background. The eye portion and the portraits are located within a photometric range that is equal to or less than a range covered by a photometry device of a photo-printer. The gray background has the same average gray density as the eye portion has. An area having a complementary color to a flesh color of the portraits is provided within the photometric range. The size, color and density of the portraits and the complementary color area are determined such that photometric values obtained from the photometric range are approximately equal to those obtained from the eye portion.

  • Patent number: 5091293
Abstract: A high-speed color negative photographic material which comprises, a support having provided thereon, at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one blue-sensitive emulsion layer, and is designated so as to acquire a specific photographic sensitivity (defined in detailed description of the invention) of 800 or above, and has a combined total of silver coverages ranging from 3.0 g/m.sup.2 to 9.0 g/m.sup.2 so as to minimize an increase in fog, a decrease in photographic speed and deterioration in granularity, which heretofore have occurred in high-speed photographic materials during long-range storage before used. In addition, the present photographic material enables enhancement of pressure resistance and processing efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4680253
Abstract: A silver halide color photographic material which comprises a support having coated thereon at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, characterized in that the gradation of each of the blue-, green- and red-sensitive layers satisfies the following relation: ##EQU1## wherein .gamma..sub.B (10.sup.-4), .gamma..sub.G (10.sup.-4) and .gamma..sub.R (10.sup.-4) represent gradation of the blue-, green- and red- sensitive layers upon 1/10,000 second exposure, respectively and .gamma..sub.B (10.sup.-2), .gamma..sub.G (10.sup.-2) and .gamma..sub.R (10.sup.-2) represent those upon 1/100 second exposure, respectively, which provides a color picture having good color and tone reproduction in both regular and flash photography.
