  • Patent number: 9176619
Abstract: A connection portion extends from an operation substrate, and a retaining groove of an elastic body is retained in a retaining hole of the connection portion. When a shaft portion of a retaining member is inserted into a through hole of the elastic body and screwed into an internally-threaded hole of a panel, an upper elastic portion of the elastic body is interposed between the connection portion and a support portion of the panel, and a lower elastic portion of the elastic body is interposed between the connection portion and an facing member. When an operation surface of the operation substrate is pressed, the connection portion rotates in a direction and the upper elastic portion and the lower elastic portion of the elastic body are compressed, whereby an appropriate operation reaction force and an elastic return force can be exerted.

  • Patent number: 6603459
Abstract: An operating device which enables various input operations. A two-direction input device is provided in front of a flat input member. When an operation button is moved in a Y1 or Y2 direction, a switch device is turned ON. In a case where one of the switch devices is ON, the operation button can be pressed, and at this time, a press switch device is turned ON. In use of this two-direction input device, a series of operations such as selection and determination of menu displayed on a display screen can be quickly performed.

  • Patent number: 6535203
Abstract: A coordinate input apparatus operable with any one of a conductor such as a finger and a non-conductor such as a pen without damaged operability is provided. Furthermore, in order to miniaturize the apparatus and reduce the thickness thereof, in an electrostatic capacitive detection section having a resin sheet and a resist film, a pressure-sensing detection section having a resin sheet, and a substrate, through-holes penetrating from the surface of the resist film to the backside of the substrate are formed. By filling these through-holes with a conductive material, an X-direction-detection electrode is connected to the substrate while an Y-direction-detection electrode is connected to the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20020171634
Abstract: A laminated substrate includes a first substrate having electrodes and through-holes formed thereon, a second substrate having wiring patterns formed thereon and laminated under the first substrate through an insulating layer, an electroconductive material filled in the through-holes so that the electrodes of the first substrate are electrically conducted to the wiring patterns of the second substrate therethrough, and air vent passages having longitudinal paths passing through the first substrate and communicating with the outside from the front surface of the first substrate and lateral paths located between the first substrate and the second substrate for communicating the longitudinal paths with the through-holes. With this arrangement, when both the substrates are electrically conducted to each other, the electrodes of the first substrate are electrically conducted to the wiring patterns of the second substrate reliably through the conductive material which is filled in the through-holes securely.

  • Patent number: 6093477
Abstract: A resist film and a bonding layer are disposed between a sensor substrate and a PCB, and a cutout is formed in the resist film and the bonding layer at the part where the through hole of the sensor substrate communicates with the through hole of a PCB to form an air vent communicating with the outside of the edge part of the laminated substrates. When the conductive material is filled in the through hole from the obverse surface of the sensor substrate, the air in the through hole is released from the air vent to thereby reliably fill the conductive material in the through hole, which can reliably bring the electrode and the land 28 into conduction.
