  • Patent number: 11947301
Abstract: A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveying portion, a conveying path, a discharge port, a stacking portion, a manual setting portion, a binding device which binds a sheet bundle formed by the stacking portion and a sheet bundle set at the manual setting portion by a staple, a first regulating portion which regulates a position of the sheet bundle at a rear side of the apparatus in a width direction, and a second regulating portion which regulates a position of the sheet bundle in the conveying direction. The binding device is formed to be movable back and forth to a front side and the rear side of the apparatus. When a staple is replenished to the binding device, the binding device is positioned at the third position so that a cartridge of the staple is loaded into the binding device from the front side of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10145342
Abstract: A fuel supply device includes a fuel pump, a filter case, a fuel passage, a discharge passage, and a residual pressure holding valve. A communication port opens at a shifted position of the fuel passage that is positionally shifted from the residual pressure holding valve toward the discharge passage. The fuel passage includes an outside passage part through which fuel flows from the communication port toward the discharge passage, and an inside passage part that throttles a flow of fuel flowing from the communication port toward the residual pressure holding valve more than the outside passage part. When a passage cross-sectional area of the inside passage part is converted into a passage cross-sectional area of a circular pipe, D which is a passage diameter of the circular pipe, and L which is a length of the inside passage part satisfy a relational expression of L/D?3.

  • Patent number: 7506636
Abstract: A fuel pump module within a fuel tank employs at least one fuel pump, while in the case of additional fuel pumps, a manifold receives all pumped fuel and directs it into a surrounding fuel filter within a filter case. A check valve is adjacent the filter case at a first location and a pressure regulator is adjacent the check valve. With the check valve located between the filter case and the pressure regulator, high fuel pressures may be maintained in the engine supply line when the engine is shut off, while during engine operation the pressure regulator may relieve excessive fuel pressure and deliver fuel to the engine through an engine supply line. A jet pump supply line exits the filter case at a second case location and supplies fuel to one or more jet pumps, such as a fuel pump module reservoir jet pump.

  • Patent number: 7389768
Abstract: A pump module, which is mounted to a fuel tank, includes a sub-tank, a fuel pump and an elastic member. The sub-tank is accommodated in the fuel tank. The fuel pump is accommodated in the sub-tank to pump fuel drawn into the sub-tank. The elastic member is formed of an elastomer, and is interposed between a bottom portion of the sub-tank and a bottom portion of the fuel tank. The elastic member makes contact with fuel. The elastic member internally has spaces to release stress that arises in the elastic member due to swelling caused by contacting with fuel. The elastic member is formed in a sheet. The elastic member is mounted to the sub-tank via an outer periphery of the elastic member. The spaces are arranged in a substantially circumferential direction of the sub-tank, or are arranged in a substantially radial direction of the sub-tank.

  • Patent number: 7383822
Abstract: A fuel pump module has a fuel pump with an outlet located within a fuel reservoir, a fuel filter casing within which a fuel filter receives fuel from the fuel pump fuel outlet. A fuel discharge housing attaches to the fuel filter casing such that fuel passing from the filter and into the discharge casing then discharges from either a casing fuel outlet or a bleed orifice. The casing fuel outlet leads to the engine while the bleed orifice discharges fuel into a sump formed into the reservoir's bottom wall under the bleed orifice. The sump retains a quantity of fuel so that during low fuel levels within the reservoir, when the engine is off, the fuel filter maintains its prime condition from fuel in the sump to lessen the filter prime time during engine starting. Selective placement of fuel valves also decreases fuel system prime times.
