Abstract: A door latch device includes a restricting portion that locks a spring member and restricts swinging of a link toward the unlock position by the spring member when the link swings toward the lock position against a biasing force of the spring member by the action of an inertial force equal to or greater than a set value. The link includes a restriction release portion that moves at least a part of the spring member to release the locking to that restricting portion and releases the swinging restriction of the link when the swinging is restricted by the restricting portion and the link is moved from the retreated position to the advanced position by receiving the rotational force of an open lever.
