Patent number: 9789345Abstract: To provide a low-viscosity water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic composition which is extremely excellent in UV protective enhancing effect (as the protective boosting effect of the UV absorption capability thereof) over a broad UV radiation region and has superior feeling in use (smooth feeling, dry feeling, and non-sticky feeling, etc.). A water-in-oil emulsion sunscreen cosmetic composition comprising (a) from 0.01 to 10% by mass of a water-soluble polymer and (b) from 0.01 to 30% by mass of a UV absorbent, and having a viscosity of at most 10,000 mPa·s (as measured with a B-type viscometer at 30° C.), wherein the aqueous phase accounts for at most 45% by mass.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 2010Date of Patent: October 17, 2017Assignee: Shiseido Company, Ltd.Inventors: Hideto Ueda, Koji Abe, Akio Nasu

Patent number: 8955701Abstract: A method of swing stopping control of a suspended load of a crane including a hoist and a trolley solves an equation of motion, given as an equation with respect to the deviation angle of a suspended load from the vertical direction when the trolley travels, for the trolley acceleration to thereby obtain the value of the acceleration or deceleration of the trolley, obtains speed patterns corresponding to the values of the acceleration or deceleration, drives the trolley according to the obtained speed patterns, and carries out control so that the deviation angle of the suspended load from the vertical direction becomes zero at the time when the acceleration or deceleration of the trolley is ended. Thus, even if the length of a rope holding the suspended load up is changed, a required speed pattern is produced to permit highly accurate positioning.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2012Date of Patent: February 17, 2015Assignee: Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideto Ueda, Takayuki Kaneko, Hisashi Yoshizaki

Patent number: 8367044Abstract: The present invention provides a sunscreen cosmetic comprising, relative to the total amount of the sunscreen cosmetic, 10-90 wt % of agar microgel (wherein the agar content in the agar microgel is 0.4-1 wt %) and 0.1-5 wt % of a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent. It was necessary to blend in an organic ultraviolet absorbent and such to give sunscreen cosmetics a high SPF value. However, there was a problem in that it was hard for a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent in the formulation to achieve the expected SPF function. Also, sunscreen cosmetics are particularly desired to give a freshing texture upon use. In view of the fact that a high blend ratio of an oil soluble ultraviolet absorbent inhibits the freshing texture upon use, the object of the present invention is to provide a sunscreen cosmetic that achieves a high SPF value and a freshing texture upon use by mainly blending in a water soluble ultraviolet absorbent.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2010Date of Patent: February 5, 2013Assignee: Shiseido Company, Ltd.Inventors: Susumu Yoshida, Koji Abe, Hideto Ueda, Yuki Sugiyama, Tomiko Takakura

Publication number: 20100233220Abstract: The present invention is to provide a sol composition, a oily gel composition, and a W/O type emulsion comprising an organically-modified clay mineral, having a platy particle structure with an average thickness of 0.1 ?m or less and an average major axis of 0.5 to 50 ?m in oil. It showed that the thicknening and gelling ability becomes significantly high, under the presence of a nonionic surfactant, by elaminating the aggregate of organically-modified clay mineral into platy particles in oil. In addition, because the stabilizing effect of a W/O emulsion is excellent, it is possible to provide a W/O emulsion with high emulsion stability at low viscosity by lowering the usage of the organically-modified clay mineral with a platy particle structure and the nonionic surfactant. Furthermore, it is possible to lower the viscosity of the composition, while maintaining the emulsion stability, by using an oil having COOH/OH groups.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 9, 2007Publication date: September 16, 2010Applicant: SHISEIDO COMPANY LTD.Inventors: Hideto Ueda, Akio Nasu
