    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay has a movable touch piece, a movable contact provided on the movable touch piece, and a fixed contact opposed to the movable contact. The movable touch piece is rotated by a movable iron piece that rotates based on magnetization and demagnetization of an electromagnet block, to make the movable contact come into contact with and separate from the fixed contact. Operation characteristics are made adjustable by a press-fitting amount at the time of press-fitting a fixed contact terminal provided with the fixed contact into a spool of the electromagnet block along a moving direction of the movable contact.

    Abstract: A coil terminal has a winding section comprising an end of coiled wire wound therearound. The winding section is bent relative to a remaining section of the coil terminal. The winding section has a proximal wire engagement portion and a distal wire engagement portion spaced away from each other in a longitudinal direction of the winding section, and an intermediate region disposed between the proximal wire engagement portion and the distal wire engagement portion. The wire end is extended in the intermediate region without being wound around the intermediate region.

The press-fitting portion extends to the lateral side from a fixed contact terminal that has the fixed contact.
