  • Publication number: 20220144609
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an autonomous mobile robot has a driver, a first detector, a second detector, a localization estimation part, a route-generating part, and a control part. The localization estimation part is configured to calculate an estimated position of the autonomous mobile robot in a predetermined region in accordance with first data. The route-generating part is configured to calculate a position of an object present around the autonomous mobile robot in accordance with second data. The route-generating part is configured to calculate a route to a target position in accordance with the estimated position and the position of the object. The control part is configured to control the driver in accordance with the route. The control part is configured to cause the autonomous mobile robot to travel to the target position.

  • Publication number: 20090139912
Abstract: A sort device recognizes address information applied to paper sheets by an online OCR, collates a recognition result of this online OCR with address information stored in an address information database section, judges, based on a processing situation of another sort device capable of performing data communication with the sort device, whether or not to transfer images of the paper sheets to the other sort device in a case where the recognition result of the online OCR does not match any character information stored in the address information database section, recognizes the character information applied to the paper sheets from the images of the paper sheets by a recognizing process different from that of the online OCR in a case where it is judged that the images are not transferred, and transfers, to the other sort device, the images of the paper sheets judged to be transferred by the judgment.

  • Publication number: 20070056886
Abstract: In dispatch sorting, a sorting system requires an operator to input sorting information through an information input unit for mails whose sorting information could not be identified and sorts the mails into delivery stations based on the information input as the sorting information through the information input unit, as well as stores the information input through the information input unit in an input information database. Further, the sorting system sorts the input information stored in the input information database into delivery stations, as well as stores the summary data representing per-digit or per-hierarchy number of the input information in a summary data table.

  • Patent number: 6431760
Abstract: An angular type ball bearing according to the present invention secures good property of lubricating a shaft to be supported by the ball bearing while reducing the manufacturing cost thereof, thereby being able not only to reduce the temperature rise of the bearing as well as the required rotation torque of the shaft to be supported but also to enhance the running accuracy of the shaft to be supported. The anti-load-side end portions of the outer rings 32 of the bearings 30 are respectively situated nearer to balls 37 arranged along the axial direction of a shaft to be supported by the bearings 30 than the load-side end portions of the inner rings 31 of the bearings 30. The width-direction dimensions of the outer rings 32 are formed smaller than the width-direction dimensions of the inner rings 31.

  • Patent number: 5910998
Abstract: The image data of the mail, which has not been recognized by a read/sort apparatus, and the address writing form thereof are transmitted to an image distribution section of a video coding system. A control section of the video coding system sends the image data received by the image distribution section to one of video coding disks in accordance with the address writing form. Thus, images of the mails having the same address writing form are displayed on a display section of the same video coding disk. Viewing the display section, an operator input address information from an input section to correct the address of the mail. A collation section confirms whether the corrected address exists or not with reference to an address information storage section.
