  • Patent number: 8614982
Abstract: A network station stores therein a frame scheduling table including a plurality of pieces of scheduling information obtained by scheduling, in advance, transmission/reception timing of wireless frames that are transmitted/received by wireless communication terminals each of which is configured so as to implement a plurality of wireless communication methods, while using a wireless communication method corresponding to the network side and while using a wireless communication method corresponding to the local side. When the network station receives a notification indicating that a radio wave interference is detected, from any of the wireless communication terminals managed by the network station, the network station changes the frame scheduling information currently assigned to the wireless communication terminal being the transmission source of the notification indicating that the radio wave interference is detected.

  • Patent number: 7680081
Abstract: A mobile node is arranged to perform a high-quality hand-over operation for eliminating an interruption time in communication and keeping the continuance of communication excellent. The mobile node has a function of interfacing with networks and includes a network quality monitor, a hand-over controller, and a network controller. The network quality monitor operates to monitor a network quality based on at least one of an intensity and a radio bandwidth of a radio wave received by network devices. The hand-over controller performs the hand-over operation of transmitting a care of address to an address registering destination in response to a state of the network quality before a communication is disconnected, changing a route of communication information, and switching a connecting destination into a new network.

  • Patent number: 7564817
Abstract: A multicast communication method is disclosed that includes the steps of: (a) transmitting a position registration request including multicast join request information from a mobile node to a network; (b) receiving the position registration request, performing position registration, and setting session information data for performing a multicast communication in a home agent connected to the network; and (c) encapsulating a multicast packet and forwarding the multicast packet to an optimal forwarding destination on the network to which the mobile node to join the multicast communication is connected based on the session information data in the home agent that has received the multicast packet from the network.

  • Publication number: 20030033423
Abstract: In a wireless LAN system comprising a plurality of base stations and a mobile station, which transmits by wireless, from the base stations, a frame to which a source lower layer address specific to each of the base stations is assigned, the mobile station is provided with a filtering information storing unit for storing filtering information indicating whether or not the source lower layer address is a source lower layer address expected at the mobile station, and a frame filtering unit for selectively receiving the frame based on the filtering information.
