  • Patent number: 8136204
Abstract: A door hinge for a vehicle, having a check function includes: a vehicle body-side hinge member to be fixed to a vehicle body; a door-side hinge member to be fixed to a door; a hinge shaft that relatively rotatably connects between the vehicle body-side hinge member and the door-side hinge member; a movable member capable of being displaced in a direction substantially along this hinge shaft; an operation conversion device that converts a relative rotational operation between the vehicle body-side hinge member and the door-side hinge member into a displacement of the movable member substantially along the axial direction; and a check resistance application device that applies a retention resistance against an operational force to the movable member.

  • Patent number: 7930855
Abstract: A cost-reduced, downsized automatic opening/closing apparatus for vehicle is achieved by reducing the number of components thereof. A case of a driving unit is provided with a drum housing portion, and a driving drum is rotatably accommodated in the drum housing portion. An electric motor is attached to the case, and the driving drum is driven for rotation by the electric motor. A cable connected to a sliding door is wound around the driving drum. By rotation of the driving drum, the sliding door is opened and closed as being drawn by the cable. The case is provided with a substrate housing portion integrally with the drum housing portion, and a control substrate for controlling an operation of the electric motor is accommodated in the substrate housing portion.

  • Patent number: 7861372
Abstract: An automobile door checker includes a case secured to a door, a check plate that runs movably through the case and has its base end pivotably supported on a body, a detent member fitted into and retained by the case and working in cooperation with a detent face of the check plate and a resilient member that is formed from a resilient material and is provided in a compressed state in a housing chamber defined between an outer end face of the detent member and an inner end face of the case, wherein the resilient member substantially and tightly fills the housing chamber, thus preventing rainwater from infiltrating into the housing chamber. In this way, it is possible to prevent infiltration of rainwater into a housing chamber of a case housing a resilient member by a simple structure.

  • Patent number: 7703310
Abstract: In a door opening and closing device for a vehicle in which a cylinder body of a cylinder lock having a rotor turned in response to a key operation and a casing of a door-locking device which has a door-locking lever shaft turned in response to the turning of the rotor and is switched over between a locking state and an unlocking state in response to the turning of the door-locking lever shaft are mounted to a door, a turning movement-transmitting member having a flexibility is disposed between the cylinder lock and the door-locking device so as to transmit a turning force of the rotor to the door-locking lever shaft by its twisting motion responsive to the turning of the rotor. Thus, it is possible to increase the degree of freedom for the relative dispositions of the cylinder lock and the door-locking device, while eliminating the need for a protector for preventing the unauthorized access from the outside.

  • Patent number: 7397146
Abstract: A child lock apparatus is capable of electrically controlling a child lock function, which disables a door opening operation when a door of a vehicle is opened from a vehicle cabin side by operating a door inner handle. The child lock apparatus includes a child lock mechanism which child-locks the door, and a controller which controls the child lock mechanism based on driving conditions of the vehicle detected by a driving condition detector. The controller controls the child lock mechanism to child-lock the door if the driving condition detector detects that the vehicle is running.
