  • Publication number: 20090177660
Abstract: An optical document managing server determines whether or not an access authority for accessing a document under its management is within a valid period preset on a per entry unit when receiving an access request for accessing the document from a client terminal, and permits access to the document when the access authority is within the valid period. This enables automatic access control for only limited users in access authority functions.

  • Patent number: 6685888
Abstract: For resiliently and safely supporting a monolith in a housing, a supporting structure is proposed. An annular seat structure is defined in the housing. An annular resilient washer is made of wire mesh and is put on the annular seat structure for supporting thereon a circular peripheral edge of the monolith. A biasing structure biases the monolith toward the annular resilient washer to compress the washer. The washer has a generally rectangular cross section and has a chamfered surface around a circular outer surface thereof. The chamfered surface is positioned radially outside the circular peripheral edge of the monolith. With this, even when compressed by the monolith, the washer is prevented from producing a biasing force for pulling the circular peripheral edge of the monolith radially outward, and thus, damage of the edge is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 6284369
Abstract: A sheet for forming a burned pattern is provided which comprises a ceramic green sheet layer (1) to be burned and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (2), wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprises either a single layer decomposable at low temperature and leaving a decreased amount of carbonaceous residues after burning or a laminated layer comprising at least two layers of an inner pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (21) which is the low-temperature-decomposable layer and an outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (22) having resistance to water washing. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the sheet for forming a burned pattern shows excellent provisional adhesion to adherends before burning. In particular, the outer pressure-sensitive adhesive layer shows such adhesive strength that the sheet is prevented from peeling off upon water washing.

  • Patent number: 6233923
Abstract: A primary deterioration diagnosis of a front catalyst (8) is performed based on the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas downstream of the front catalyst (8) detected in a first period each time the first period elapses when the engine (1) is running in a diagnosis region. A secondary deterioration diagnosis of the front catalyst (8) is performed based on the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas downstream of the front catalyst (8) detected in a second period longer than the first period each time the second period elapses when the engine (1) is running in the diagnosis region. When SOx discharge control is performed, primary diagnosis and secondary diagnosis are prohibited, and if it is determined in the primary diagnosis that the front catalyst (8) has deteriorated, SOx discharge control is prohibited to provide an opportunity for secondary diagnosis.

  • Patent number: 6167695
Abstract: A system and method for diagnosing deterioration of a nitrogen oxide (NOx) catalyst for an internal combustion engine. An output signal indicative of concentration of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gas passing through the NOx catalyst is generated from a NOx sensor. Rates of change in the detected NOx concentration are calculated a plurality of times over a predetermined period of time after an air/fuel ratio becomes less than a stoichiometric air/fuel ratio. A representative value derived from the calculated rates of change in the detected NOx concentration is compared with a predetermined reference value for determining that the NOx catalyst is deteriorated.

  • Patent number: 6152374
Abstract: A method of renting fabric articles comprising sticking a bar code-printed sheet onto the fabric articles and repeatedly renting and washing the fabric articles under the management with the use of the bar codes, by which the bar codes can be read even after washing the fabric articles 100 times and thus the rental business can be smoothly performed. The method of renting fabric articles comprises sticking a data code-printed sheet onto the fabric articles and repeatedly renting and washing the fabric articles under the management with the use of the data codes, characterized in that the data code-printed sheets are those wherein the data code (2) is printed on an ink-receiver layer (1) which is a porous layer made of an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene having a viscosity-average molecular weight of from 500,000 to 10,000,000 and having an average surface roughness Ra of 5 .mu.m or less and a degree of shrinkage under contact with air or in an aqueous alkali solution of pH 10 to 11 of 5% or less.
