  • Patent number: 5612410
Abstract: This present invention relates to a silicone foam control composition that is able to inhibit foaming only during the rinse stage without impairing a strong foaming action during the wash stage. The silicone foam control composition comprises 80 to 99 weight % of an organopolysiloxane containing amino-functional or carboxyl-functional organic groups and silica with a specific surface area of at least 50 m.sup.2 /g.

  • Patent number: 5600842
Abstract: Connecting an address register and a read register to each of a main control storage and an external control storage to transfer an output from the read register of the external control storage to the read register of the main control storage, and providing a branching determination circuit for making branching determination of conditional branching instructions from the main control storage and the external control storage and a branching determination synchronization circuit for, when the conditional branching instruction comes from the external control storage, executing the conditional branching instruction and the synchronization between the main control storage and the external control storage, to execute the microprogram and conditional branching instructions by the output of the read register of the main control storage.

  • Patent number: 4782112
Abstract: The water-repellent silicone water-based emulsion composition of the present invention consists of a mixture of (A) a silicone water-based emulsion composed of water, emulsifying agent, and diorganopolysiloxane having at least 2 silicone-bonded hydroxyl groups in each molecule, (B) a silicone water-based emulsion composed of water, emulsifying agent, and organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in each molecule, and (C) curing catalyst. It is characterized by an excellent storage stability, and by the formation on curing of a rubbery elastomeric coating film which has an excellent alkali resistance, water repellency, water-repellant sealability, and durability of adhesion.

  • Patent number: 4769405
Abstract: An aqueous silicone emulsion coating material has been developed with can be used to form a membrane with a decorative, uneven surface. The decorative surface is durable and waterproof. The coating material consists essentially of aqueous silicone emulsion which gives an elastomer upon removal of the water component, inorganic filler, and short, hydrophilic, organic fibers.

  • Patent number: 4761312
Abstract: A method of forming a very durable, waterproof, and unevenly textured coating film on the wall surfaces of a structure comprises an undercoating material consisting of a silicone-modified organic resin, an uneven textured intermediate coating material consisting of a short fiber-containing aqueous silicone emulsion which forms a rubbery elastomer by means of removal of the water, and a top coating material consisting of a silicone-type resin.

  • Patent number: 4677160
Abstract: According to the present invention, an aqueous silicone emulsion composition is produced as follows. A base emulsion is prepared from prescribed quantities of an essentially straight-chain organopolysiloxane with at least 2 silicon-bonded hydroxyl groups in each molecule, colloidal silica or alkali metal silicate, a curing catalyst, an emulsifier and water. After the pH is adjusted to 9 to 12 and ripened until an elastomer material is formed by the removal of water at room temperature, prescribed quantities of an epoxy-functional silane coupling agent or its partial hydrolysis product or its partial hydrolysis condensation product, a filler and a dispersant are added. The produced aqueous silicone emulsion composition bonds tightly to porous substrates in contact with it during curing and is therefore extremely useful as a coating or sealing material for various porous substrates.

  • Patent number: 4535109
Abstract: Described is a method of producing silicone aqueous emulsion compositions which cure at room temperature by the removal of water to form elastomeric coatings or films with superior surface gloss, good adhesion to substrates, and rustproofness. The method prepares an emulsion of polydiorganosiloxane having at least two hydroxyl groups per molecule, colloidal silica or alkali metal silicate, curing catalyst, emulsifier, and water, the emulsion having a pH of from 9 to 12. After a period of ripening for a period of time, so that an elastomeric material will be formed when water is removed at room temperature, an amino-functional silane or its partial hydrolyzate is added to give the emulsion its improved properties.
