  • Publication number: 20100060559
Abstract: A display device displays images with a plurality of signal lines and includes spare lines, each being arranged to be connectable to the signal lines so as to be used for recovery of the signal lines from disconnection. Each of the spare lines has constricted sections for cutting. With this arrangement, it is possible to easily and properly recover the signal lines from disconnection.

  • Publication number: 20100020270
Abstract: A liquid crystal device 1 of the present invention includes a first conductive layer 20 and a second conductive layer 21 arranged across an insulating layer from the first conductive layer 20. A crossover section 40 at which the first conductive layer 20 and the second conductive layer 21 intersect each other is provided. At least one of the first conductive layer 20 and the second conductive layer 21 includes a slit portion 210a and a cutout portion 210b, which are arranged in the crossover section so that the cutout portion 210b is at a predetermined distance from the slit portion 210a.

  • Patent number: 7649607
Abstract: In a wiring figure pattern of a display panel, each wiring is separated into bands of optimal widths by slits of a constant width as a wiring figure pattern so that minimum light irradiation for curing a photocuring sealing material can be carried out without increasing the electric resistance of the wiring. The optimal width means a resistance such that light coming from both sides of the band cures the sealing material on the upper surface of the band-without influencing the driving and display of liquid crystal. At a point where the width of wiring becomes two times or more of the optical width between the start point and end point of intersection of the wiring and the sealing material region, the wiring is divided by the slit. A first branch forms the band of the optimal width extending from the branch point to the end point, whereas the second branch extends to the end point and is spaced apart from the first branch by the width of the slit.
