  • Publication number: 20020178235
Abstract: A multicast packet distribution method used for distributing a packet from an origination host to a destination host belonging to a multicast group via communication nodes in a packet communication network that includes a plurality of domains is provided. The multicast packet distribution method includes the steps of: sending a packet to a multicast group in a domain from the origination host; transferring the packet to the domain via a communication node in the outside of the domain according to a unicast routing procedure; and wherein, when a predetermined communication node in the domain receives the packet, the predetermined communication node transfers the packet to the destination host according to a multicast routing procedure.

  • Patent number: 6303075
Abstract: A high temperature Nb-base alloy material which contains a ductile Nb-base metal phase to secure the toughness of the alloy at a normal temperature, and yet it can provide a dense oxide film in a high temperature oxidative atmosphere, thereby it can maintain excellent oxidation resistance even when the coating is broken, i.e. it has self repairing function, is provided. The high temperature oxidation resistant alloy material is constructed by adding a trace amount of metal Mg which is necessary to form a dense oxide film comprising MgO as a main component on the surface in an elevated temperature oxidative atmosphere, to a composite phase alloy comprising not less than 10% by volume of a Nb-base solid solution metal phase represented by atomic ratio as Nb—(15-40%)Ti—(5-20%)Al and the remainder of one or more kinds of intermetallic compound phases or ceramic phases having high oxidation resistance.

  • Publication number: 20010009124
Abstract: A decarbonating apparatus has a dehumidifying section for adsorbing humidity contained in waste gas and a decarbonating section for adsorbing CO2 contained in the dehumidified waste gas. The decarbonating section includes a decarbonating drum rotor loaded with a CO2 adsorbent having a honeycomb structure and arranged so as to adsorb CO2 contained in the waste gas, a heated gas supply pipe for supplying a heated gas so as to desorb CO2 adsorbed by the CO2 adsorbent, a purge gas supply pipe for supplying a purge gas so as to purge desorbed CO2, and a cooling gas supply pipe for supplying a cooling gas so as to regenerate the CO2 adsorbent. The decarbonating drum rotor is rotated to successively pass through the adsorption region, the desorption region, the purging region, and the regeneration region.

  • Patent number: 4891182
Abstract: A process for making a porous mass of a metal of iron- or titanium-group comprises steps of forming a sinter of solvent-soluble particles, pressing in a molten metal of the iron- or titanium- group into open interstices in the sinter, and eluting the particles from the composite of the sinter and metal. Solvent-soluble magnesia particles whose surface is either covered or not with a film of boric anhydride or solvent-soluble calcia particles whose surface is either covered or not with film of calcium chloride are sintered and machined into the desired shape. The formed sinter is put in a case of a heat-insulating material that can withstand the melting temperature of a metal of iron- or titanium-group. After being heated to a given temperature together with the case, the sinter is immediately put in a metal mold where a molten metal of iron- or titanium-group is pressed into open interstices in the sinter. Then, only the particles are eluted from the sinter-metal composite by a solvent.

  • Patent number: 4713277
Abstract: A foamed metal which has an apparent specific gravity of from 0.2 to 0.8 and comprises an aggregate of polygonal closed cells of from 2 to 10 mm in average diameter. The foamed metal is not only light in weight, free of directionality and structurally strong but also excellent in sound-absorbing and electromagnetic shielding properties, and is useful as constructional, structural or functional material. A method for producing the foamed material comprises adding calcium as a thickening agent to molten aluminum or alloy thereof in an amount of from 0.2 to 8% by weight, followed by agitating to adjust the viscosity of the melet, then adding from 1 to 3% by weight of powdered titanium hydride as a foaming agent to the melt, and agitating the melt to effect foaming.
