    Abstract: A stay of an automobile sun visor includes a vertical part that is attached to the ceiling, a horizontal part that supports a light-blocking plate, and a curved part that connects the vertical part and the horizontal part. A tube core made of metal is provided through the center of the stay, and the periphery of this tube core is covered by a covering resin. Discontinuous points, which are the boundaries between two types of resin, are provided in the covering resin at prescribed positions of the vertical part and horizontal part. A discontinuous point at which bending deformation of the tube core occurs more easily is further provided in the tube core at a position that corresponds to these discontinuous points.
